Dawn's life had been flipped upside down and inside out with a few simple words. Never Had she ever thought that there was even a chance anything besides humans covered the earth. To her happy surprise the man she found herself deeply taken by was just that, not human. Here she sat in his lap while he smoked and smoked away immune to the tar filling his lungs, while Dwyane simple talked with him while Star twirled around the fire.

"Penny for your thoughts Sunshine?" David whispered softly into her ear as she leaned back into him.

"This is incredible, this life you have I could never have dreamed this up is all." The pair softly spoke wrapped in their own world filled with nothing but honesty.

"You don't give yourself enough credit, this is what everyone dreams up Id imagine you'd dream up something bigger. Just think about it this is what all humans crave." The smirk on David's lips only grew." To never have to worry about the party ending, to staying beautiful forever." He gently kissed her cheek after watching the human he had grown so attached to turn red in his arms.

Dawn simply nodded knowing better than to hide her face from him. Dwyane looked at the two while feeling a warmth in his heart. It had been so long since he saw David this happy. While part of him longed to be pair of a pair he knew deep down that he would get his chance. He had always wanted a family and he found exactly that in the boys, but to see his family growing so rapidly was astounding.

While everyone was relaxing around the fire simply taking in the music and each other's company the peace was quickly lost at the sound or running footsteps. Two pairs of loud running footsteps.

"Yo! Guys I think Dawns coming to the cave man you gotta hide star! She Looked pissed!" Paul screamed jumping down without noticing the round girl wrapped up in David's arms. Marko flew over Paul landing face down on the ground with no regard for his own body. Everyone started to cackle, and laughter filled the cave.

"Great landing boys!" David's laugh mixed with the loud carefree cackle leaving Dawn's mouth made both Paul and Marko back to reality.

'SHES BACK!" Paul ran over and ripped a very startled Dawn from Davids hands spinning her around before passing her to Marko who had no problem catching his sister and throwing her up in the air.

All had seemed right in the world. The night air blew into the cave and the summer breeze carried the spirit of the group wherever it demanded. The night was young, and it belonged to them. They had Dawn back and she had the boys, the family that would never grow old, never die and always stay young. With Dawn wrapped in his arms Davids good mood lit up the cave just like the fire, reaching everything and draping it in a warm purple hue of the person he couldn't get enough of. However, like most good things, nothing can really last forever.

While the night may have carried the young joy the boy's hand through the night that same night also brought change, change for everything. After all, how could the boys have known the same night they had fallen in love with so many decades ago was going to carry a single family on its breeze. A family that would truly change everything for not only the boys but all of Santa Carla forever.

Lucy Emerson was finishing packing all by herself. Loading the car in the moonlight right before a big move was draining for the woman, but she would have to get used to doing these kinds of things alone from now on. She would have to get used to providing for her boys. Lucy would go out and find a job once she settled from the move, she would be happy with her family. Glancing at the moon after slamming the car door shut with the last of the boxes she thought of the boys. Change would be good for Michael and Sam. It was that change that the moon would carry all the way to Santa Carla.
