Chapter 27: We are not going home
I look up at the gleaming red Hogwarts Express the form of a large red, 4-6-0 steam engine as it sits at Hogsmeade station. The platform was busy as students are walking around, getting in the train.
"Come on now, hurry up. You'll be late. Train's leaving. Go on. Go on. Come on. Hurry up." Hagrid shouts out as he gestures for all students to get on the train so we can go back to our homes back in the muggle world.
Both Harry and myself hand over Amaris and Hedwig to a train man, and walks to an open door of the train with Hermione. Hermione send a wave over towards Hagrid, who waves back to her. Hermione gets in the train. Following Ron who was putting Gizmo Harry and I's cat in the carriage to save it for just the four of us to have.
Both Harry and myself pause as we look down the platform at Hagrid the first friend we had made on this new adventure into the wizarding world.
"Come on, Harry, Willow" Hermione smiles as she stands on the door step of the train I glance at her then back at Hagrid "One minute we will be back" I smile towards her before both me and my twin Brother walks over to Hagrid.
"Thought you were leaving without saying good-bye, didja?" Hagrid smiles as he takes a red album out of his coat pocket and hands it out towards Harry. "This is for you two".
Harry opens up the red album as I go on my tiptoes to look over his shoulder at the new gift we have been given. Inside lays a picture, a Wizardry picture the moving one. A sad smile tugs at my lips as I look at the moving photo of My Mother and Father, Lily and James Potter holding both Harry and Myself as babies. They are all smiling and waving towards us.
I rub my eyes with the sleeve of my jacket we both finally have a way to see them properly that we can keep "Thanks, Hagrid" I smile up at him as I pass Harry and embrace the Giant Sweetheart in a hug. Harry joins in seconds later as Hagrid gives us a gentle but tight squeeze.
"Oh. Go on...on with you" He states getting a bit chocked up in his words as he releases his grip from around my brother and myself. Taking a step back Hagrid grins down at us "Oh, listen, if that dolt of a cousin of yours, Dudley, gives you any grief, you could always, um, threaten him with a nice pair of ears to go with that tail of his.
"But Hagrid, we're not allowed to do magic away from Hogwarts. You know that." I smile as Hagrid gives a menacing look "I do. But your cousin don't, do he? Eh?" he chuckles giving the both of us a wink maybe with this technique we wont be bullied as much from our Aunt and Uncle "Off you go".
Waving us off Harry grabs my hand with his free one as he walks us away, back to the train door where Hermione and Ron are waiting for the both of us.
"Feels strange to be going home, doesn't it?" I smile as both Harry and I look towards each other before we look back at our two friends. "We are not going home."
"Not really."
The train whistles and we climb aboard. Quickly going to our carriage Ron reserved for us I take the window seat as Gizmo comes and perks her self on my lap. The train starts to leave as the train begins to move Hagrid comes to view as the four of us wave to the incredibly warm, kind-hearted man that we can not wait to see next time.
Only a couple of months till our next adventure, and what an adventure it will be.
