After the Jiangs closed the restaurant they went to the inn to rest. Tonight alone they made about four thousand taels plus the money from the stall they have about four thousand and five hundred taels. The moms were excited so were the rest of the family. After the long night, they were all exhausted so they made their way to their respective room after wishing a good night.
"Honey, how do you feel?" Jiang Yanwei asked seeing the tired Tang Shushui.
"I'm fine, I'm just happy we have more income now." Tang Shushui responded with a gentle voice. "Can you make the bed tonight? I'm a little tired." Tang Shushui continued with a thin smile.
"Of course, you can go shower and I'll give you a massage after." Jiang Yanwei responded in a loving tone.
"Ok, thank you." Tang Shushui replied in a grateful tone.
Tang Shushui was showering, and Jiang Yanwei was making the bed. Twenty minutes later Tang Shushui came out of the shower and Jiang Yanwei got in. After twenty minutes both husband and wife were in bed looking at each other.
"Are you sure you're not stressing yourself too much?" Jiang Yanwei asked concernedly, stoking his wife's ebony hair.
"No, I'm fine baby. The baby just makes me sleep more, plus I'll go hire a few more employees tomorrow so no worries." Tang Shushui reasoned as he stroked the stubble on Jiang Yanwei's chin. He started calling him baby a week ago, confusing Jiang Yanwei who didn't know that it was a term of endearment in modern times.
"You're still calling me that? Well, I can't complain I knew my wife was this shameless what did I expect?" He responded in a fake disappointed tone.
"How dare my stone face husband call me shameless?" Tang Shushui teased planting a kiss on Jiang Yanwei's lips.
The next morning...
Both Haohao and Tang Shushui woke up with a glow while their two husbands looked exhausted with big eye bags under their eyes. The mothers side-eyed them and continued drinking tea. They heard Gers were more energetic than most men and women seeing the two haggard-looking men and the glowing gers the mothers confirmed their thoughts.
It was six in the morning when Tang Shushui woke up, he felt the side-eyes of his mothers but he chose to ignore them. He then remembered he still had another problem to deal with. He needed to have a good talk with the kids.
"Kids come here, gege has something to tell you." Tang Shushui called the kids, regaining his composure.
"Yes, gege?" The kids came over and responded, looking at the floor as if they were ashamed.
"You shouldn't let those spoiled kids get into your head. You guys are amazing, you're better than them in every single way. These guys grew up with privilege but did you? They grew up with everything they wanted and you didn't, but that doesn't mean they're better than you ok? If you look at all the fallen powerful noble clans they all have one thing in common, you know what it is?" Explained Tang Shushui in a gentle voice as he sighed.
"No," They all responded confused.
"When the powerful head falls they all fall because they grew up being spoiled and dependent on their parents. Now, what if my business were to fail would you survive? Yes! you would because even when your parents tried to spoil you in the past you knew better, and it wasn't just because of your financial situation, I mean many people with poor circumstances turned into alcoholics, gamblers, and robbers, but you guys stayed on track and didn't once bash your mom for the financial situation which many kids do. Being at your lowest and surviving it is something you should always brag about, be proud of, and talk about." Advise Tang Shushui as he patted the shoulders of the now bawling children.
