The kids looked at each other as they smiled. After admiring their food for a little while, they finally took out their chopsticks. Each of the chopsticks was personalized for the kids. They had figured on them and all looked colorful. Once again they couldn't help but be surprised by the Jiang siblings.

Ignoring the inquisitive gazes the sibling slowly started eating their food. No matter how composed the noble kids were, they were kids, and seeing such a novelty was hard to resist. 

After a short period of time, Zeng Renshu quietly asked for some. The kids had quite a lot of food so they agreed. Then one after the other many kids also asked for some. Seeing how kids were saying it was delicious, the other kids and the adults became curious about the food. Zeng Renshu was the most excited. This was the first time he had eaten such good food.

"Where did you get this food?" Zeng Renshu asks, unable to hold back his excitement.

"My gege cooked it for us," Chun Hua responded with a smile.

"The same gege who taught you guys everything?" Sun Junjie asked.

"Yes, the same gege," Chun Hua answered, her face filled with pride.

"Your gege has a restaurant right?"  Sun Huiling asked in a timid voice.

"Yes! Would you like to come and visit it sometime?" Cai'er asked after responding.

"Um s-sure," Sun Huling responded as he blushed. He had always been timid, so this much talking was enough to make him blush. 

"Can we bring our family?" Kang Yanmei asked, her voice excited. Since the school would close for five days for the Summer Festival after today, all of their family will come to visit them. So they could all just go to the restaurant with their families.

"Of course!" Chun Hua responded eagerly. Who was she to say no? All these people coming meant more money.

"Is it fine if the judges come too?" Shao Menxiang asked politely.

"You're all welcome!" Cai'er shouted for everybody to hear, making everybody laugh.

After exchanging a few more words everybody made their way home. Fu Suyin came to pick the kids up and took the home. On the way, the kids were talking nonstop about what happened today. As soon as they got home, they went straight into the living room where everyone was sitting and talking to each other.

The moment the family in the living saw the kids they immediately bombarded them with questions. The kids were very happy to respond and told them everything that happened. Minutes passed and the room was filled with laughter and a warm atmosphere. 

"What about the results?" Tang Shushui asked

"They will be announced after the summer festival!" Chun Hua responded excitedly as she cuddled in her mom's arms.

"Why so long?" Hao Hao asked.

"I don't know," Chun Hua answered.

"Me neither," Chaoxiang responded.

"Neither do I," Cai'er echoed.

"They never announce it right after because they have to evaluate and compare it to other schools to see which students they should eliminate," Xiang Ai suddenly said as she fed her firstborn baby a bottle of milk.

"Really?" Jiang Yanwei asked, his voice full of interest.

"Yes, Granny Li's grandson, Li Zixin participated in selection many times and never made it so he always complained about the school not competing only within the school. He never made it hence he always blamed the richer kids of other schools for bribing their way to the next selection round." Xiang Ai explained.

"Did the rich kids really bribe their way in?" Tang Shushui asked. He needed to know in case he needed to step up to help the kids into the next round of selections.

"No, they can't do that. The final judge is the emperor, and if one of the kids were to not perform well and it is found out that they got here due to a bribe then that would be the crime of deceiving the emperor which is punishable by death. I may not know how to read and write but these basic rules, I know. So if one of the parents were to try to bribe the judges and the judges were to decline nothing would happen to them, and they could even use that as blackmail toward that parent. So over the years, the judges have become more and more unafraid of the parents and only choose students according to their talents. So bribery is unlikely in the selection." Xiang Ai explained without missing a beat.

The way Xiang Ai spoke truly surprised the family. When she first came to the family she was shy but shrew, and even calculative at some point. But now she was so eloquent in her speech and really was not as timid as she was when she came here. Yuan Fang could only look at his wife in admiration. 

"That makes sense." Tang Shushui said, snapping everybody out of their thoughts.

"What happened after school after that?" Mother Jiang asked the kids.

"Well, we invited some kids and their families to the restaurant during the summer festival," Cai'er responded.

"Our restaurant is closed for two days during the summer festival, but they can come after that. Who are the kids you invited?" Tang Shushui asked.

"The Di son of the Grand Chancellor, the third Di daughter of the Minister Of Finance, the second young master of the Minister Of Justice, the fifth young master of the Minister Of Steward, and the eighth daughter of the Kang Military family," Chaoxiang stated calmly.

These names made the family's jaw drop. They looked at Chaoxiang who was still calm and couldn't help but think if something was wrong with this kid. The people he just stated are very noble and reputed families. Why are these kids even going to the town school in the first place?

"How did you meet these kids?" Tang Shushui asked.

"They liked the Bentos you packed us, so they asked to come to our restaurant. The judges wanted to come too and we said yes." Liu Qiu responded.

"Ok that's fine," Tang Shushui said as she stroked Liu Qiu's head.

"Fine honey? Are you sure? The restaurant's staff are not really used to such big shots, how will they be able to serve them?" Jiang Yanwei said as his brows furrowed.

"My staff is not that unprofessional but I get what you're saying. I will be using our two days off for more training to train them, and then I will be there on the day they visit to serve." Tang Shushui responded.

"Ok, if you feel that you can, then you can go." Jiang Yanwei encouraged.
