As soon as they got the token, someone led them upstairs to the rose venue. As soon as they got to their tables which they had to put together, they were left by themselves, but this time they didn't feel confused as the hostess already explained this to them. In this restaurant, the servers will leave you alone after they lead you to the table so you can have time to look at the menu and order. When you know what you want and want to order, you just put the menu in the basket in the middle of the table standing up. So after looking at the menu and deciding what they wanted they followed this procedure.
"Dear customers, what would you like to order?" A waiter came over as soon as they saw the signal.
"We would like two extra large bowls of white rice, two steamed whole fish, an extra large bowl of liangpi, a medium bowl of Sichuan dumplings, a large bowl of chicken wonton soup, a medium bowl of shrimp porridge, a large bowl of steamed eggs, a medium bowl of pickled vegetables, an extra large plate of boneless beef. For dessert, we would like a large bowl of mango pudding, a large plate of cookies, three taels worth of mung bean cakes, and three taels worth of strawberry pudding. For drinks, we would like seven bottles of strawberry milk, five medium cups of coffee, a sheng bottle of rice wine(1 Liter), and a sheng bottle of chai milk tea." Kai Heng ordered.
"Yes sir we will be right with you," The waiter responded as he finished writing the order down while making his way to the kitchen.
"Where are the Zhangjie siblings?" Zheng Renshu asked curiously as he looked around.
"Zhangjie? That is very unique and rare for a name," Xia Tung-Mei the mother of Zheng Renshu remarked.
"It is indeed," Han Hualing, the mother of Lao Meifeng echoed.
"Special name or not, that's them. But I thought they were going to eat with us?" Zheng Renshu said, his voice strained with disappointment.
"Maybe they are scared of embarrassing themselves," Lao Meifeng retorted arrogantly hearing Xheng Renshu'd words.
"That's too bad, having them around is really amusing," Su Junjie responded with a straight face.
"Should we invite them then?" Kang Heng proposed.
"We don't know if they are here are not but we can try," Shao Menxiang responded gently.
"Excuse me, waiter?" Xia Tung-Mei called.
"Yes, ma'am what can I help you with?" The waiter asked as he bowed.
"Are the children of the Zhangjie family here?" Xia Tung-Mei asked politely.
"Yes, they are," The waiter responded.
"Could you please please ask them if they want to eat with their classmates from their school?" Xiang Tung-Mei asked gently.
"Of course, please excuse me," The waiter excused himself before he went to report to the boss. Tang Shushui after hearing that asked the kids if they wanted to eat with those people. The siblings didn't deny it and went with the waiter.
"Hello," The siblings greeted as they curtsied a bit.
"Chun Hua! Come eat with us!" Zheng Renshu shouted excitedly, his eyes shining.
"Are you blind? Can you not see that there are four of us and not only Chun Hua?" Chaoxiang ruthlessly cut Zheng Renshu off as he glared at him. Who did this little spoiled brat think he is? Does he really think he's worthy enough to come after his sister?
"Shut up! Chun Hua come seat next to me," Zheng Renshu instructed as he patted the other side of the couch.
"Chun Hua you need to seat next to me! Don't forget what gege said," Chaoxiang responded coldly as he pulled Chun Hua with him to go seat down.
"I am sorry about my siblings, they are a little immature at times. I hope that they didn't offend you," Liu Qing apologized as she formally bowed to the adults in the room who both Chun Hua and Chaoxiang failed to greet.
"No it's fine, they are just having fun," Xian Tung-Mei responded as she let out a light chuckle. It was a long time since she saw her son having fun, what problem could she have?
"Then, I think you for your generosity," Liu Qing thanked as she bowed before pulling Cai'er to go and sit down. They all sat down and talked for a while before the waiter came to tell them that their food was ready. Because the food that they ordered was so much, the waiter had to use a rolling cart. After setting up the table, the customers were ready to dig in.
