"PAPA?" My son called me. Bumaling naman ako kay Helios na ngayon ay nakaupo sa kanyang baby chair at nilalaruan ang cereal na hinain ko sa kanya.
"Yes baby?" I asked back. Nasa kusina ako ngayon at hinahanda ang aming almusal, Raia is still asleep so I decided to give her a breakfast in bed.
"I want banana." He said while pouting his lips.
"It's too early for banana Helios." Tipid kong sagot habang isinasalansan ang mga hinanda ko sa isang tray.
A simple eggs benedict, toast, yogurt and pineapple for my beautiful and lovely wife. I hope she enjoys this meal I made just for her.
"But banana is healthy!" He begins his tantrums.
"It is baby but not at this hour." Malumanay kong dagdag.
"No! I want banana!" He started crying at the same time eating his cereal. Tipid akong napangiti at nilapitan ang bulinggit kong anak.
Binuhat ko ito kahit nagpipiksi at sinasabing madamot daw ako.
"If you insist to have a banana right now mama will get angry for the both of us, you want that?" Mahinang anas ko.
Mabilis namang tumigil sa pag-iinarte at pagiyak si Helios at tinakpan ng maliliit niyang kamay ang kanyang bibig.
"I don't want mama to get angry at me papa, she will make a baby sister for me if she gets mad and I don't want a baby sister nor a brother." Bakas ang hikbi sa pagsasalita nito.
Ako naman ay hindi napigil ang malakas na tawang kumawala sa aking labi. Damn, masasapak ko talaga si Neattan sa pagtuturo ng kung ano-ano sa anak ko.
"Who tell you that?" Tanong ko kahit may nahihinuha na ako kung sino.
"Mama!" He shriek. Napakunot naman ang noo ko dahil sa narinig.
"Not your uncle Neattan?" Naguguluhang tanong ko.
"No, it's m-mama, she told me that she really wanted to have another baby and she misses you so much. She also said that if I am stubborn she will seduce you and make a baby. P-papa I don't want!" Naiiyak na sumbong nito.
Nakagat ko naman ang labi ko dahil sa narinig. Punyeta, never in my wildest dream that I will have a boner in front of my son. The information he told me is beyond my control. Fuck. I missed my wife too. We never really do it often because this little creature in front of me knows how to interrupt us. Helios just know when were about to make love. Fuck.
"Stop crying baby." Alo ko nalang dito at nagsimula na akong maglakad patungo sa kwarto naming mag-asawa, iiwan ko muna si Helios doon bago dalhin sa kama ang breakfast in bed na hinanda ko para kay Raia.
"Where are we going? I'm not yet done with my cereal, mama will get upset and she'll make a baby!" He cried again.
"No, were not going to have another baby, when you reach 5 I guess we can have?" Nagsusumamo ang boses ko.
"When I'm 5 you'll give me a baby sister or brother?" He asked, his brows are crouched like his nose.
"You okay with that?" I also asked him.
"But I'm still a baby when I'm 5. Papa, you can't have another baby if I am still a baby." His small voice creep all over my ears.
I'm still wondering if Helios is only 2 years old baby. He speak fluently, he speak maturely. I am just proud. Some of his age still baby talking but he's different. He is a genius.
"You'll love it when you see your baby sister." Anas ko nalang.
"Or brother!" He shouted in a small voice.
