Well. I was stuck with Valentina. It had been two days since Octavia went missing. We wandered aimlessly, no idea where the bag of gold and rubies we'd recieved were. We were currently in Iowa, eating at a Mcdonalds, well... I wasn't. I don't eat Mcdonalds. It's horrible(Except for the happy meals.) I'd rather eat dirt.
Valentina sipped her Cola. I read one of my books. We both trusted the others to make it back safely, but we still looked for them. I looked up at the daughter of Asmodeus, she seemed to be deep in thought.
I sighed, "What's on your mind"
Valentina looked up, "I'm worried about Erik..."She confessed, I nodded.
"He's a strong person, He's probably on his way."I assured her."Now, we have a quest."I reminded the daughter of Asmodeus, standing up. She stood up, still seemingly in deep thought.
"Two of you are already gone? What a pity."A familiar voice said from behind us.
"Mother."I muttered, turning around, so did Valentina."Do you know where they are... Your highness?"Valentina muttered that last part, like she didn't want to call her that. And I couldn't blame her.
"Ah, the memory-defficent fool is delusional-y perishing. And the good one, Octavia, is alive and... well."Lilith smiled, taking my Happy Meal. I scoffed."Erik? What happened to him?!"Valentina interrogated.
"Satan stabbed his left leg, he's badly beat up, a giant scorpion stung him, and he's in dire need of a shower."My mother grinned, eating one of MY french fries. The audacity."I didn't promise to save him, I just promised to give him his memory back. But...I'll give you some guidance. The peacock girl is near. But await the Erik kid first."Lilith smirked before whispering information into Aella's ear. And then... she faded away.
"I'd say the peacock girl is Octavia... how does she forget someone's name so quickly?"I asked myself, Valentina shrugged.
"We have to wait... In this stupid Iowa town. IN IOWA!"Valentina groaned.
"There's worse places to be."I muttered, staring off of the small Iowa town.
