Erik lie on the floor. I stared down at this oaf. My oaf. He was horribly beat up, dried blood ran from his nose, his left leg was wrapped in his jacket, a stab wound was in his right arm, and he looked completely delirious.
"Hiii!"Erik smiled.

I looked down at him, he was giggling uncontrollably.
"Oh dear Satan..."Aella mumured, staring down at his stab wound, I was paying more attention to his blood soaked make-shift bandage.
Erik sat up, he winced, instantly throwing up on the sidewalk.
"Yikes,"Aella muttered.

"Water..?"He asked, I handed him a canteen, in which he chugged.
"So, What happened to you?"I tried to say in my most understanding voice, like if I were talking to a small child.

"Why's everythin' so... bright?"Erik changed the subject.
"Erik Athene. Focus. What... happened to you?"Aella interrogated.
"Bad Memory,"He answered.

"YES, ERIK, WE KNOW YOU LOST YOUR MEMORY! BUT THIS WAS TWO DAYS AGO, YOU COULDN'T OF POSSIBLY FORGOTTEN!"Aella erupted. Wow. She got angry fast.

"Aella- He's.... delirious! Cut him some slack."I told her, she seemed to cool down.
"I- dunno... I feel funny."Erik massaged his temples, keeping his dazed gaze on me.

"Your a healer... how about you try to heal him?"Aella asked, I wasn't very fond of the idea. I sensed some sort of venom inside of Erik...
"I don't know,"I paused. "It might not work..."

Aella pointed over to Erik, who was giggling again.
"Fine,"I muttered, walking over to my disoriented friend.

I sighed, kneeling down next to Erik. He sat up, staring at me.
"Sorry, dude."I mumbled, grabbing him by his sickly-looking face and pulling him into a kiss.

Erik's eyes widened, feathers sprouted from his skin. His ears basically turned red, which I thought was funny.
"Better?"I asked, he said nothing as his wounds healed.

"You- You actually..."A big smile bloomed on Erik's face. I yawned. That really drained my energy.
"Great for you two. Can we please get going?"Aella seemed bored, but amused.

"Yeah, we should."I said, Erik got up, he still limped when he walked, so he had to use me for support. My magic had only fully healed his scratches and most of the poison in him. But his greater wounds, like his scorpion sting wound, and his stabbed leg were barely healed. I took bandages from my bag, wrapping up his leg and his scorpion wound.

"Where are we going?"Erik wondered, his expression still dazed, and in disbelief.

"Octavia- kind of- I dunno. But she's supposedly near here."I explained, Aella nodded along.

"Mother gave me intructions."Aella mentioned walking off.
"Why didn't she tell all of us?"I asked.
"The demons aren't allowed to help this many kids- especially if they're not theirs."Aella answered, still walking into the same direction.

"Well. Time to save Octavia."I mumbled.
