Everything hurt.
Could I feel anything but pain at this point? I stared up at the sky. Was I finally going to die? Finally be put back where I belonged? Ugh. Just take me already, Lucifer. Take me. I tried to move, but every bone in my body felt like it was on fire. Maybe I was on fire. I couldn't tell. Everything felt fuzzy and blurry, I just couldn't focus. How long had I been lying here?
"Dang. She looks beat up."A familiar voice said, I noticed the figures staring down at me.
"Yeah... I am..."I mumbled, trying to focus. I saw one figure clear as day. Erik. He had a lipstick mark on his lips."Someone help."I muttered.
"This is gonna drain my energy..."A voice I was sure was Valentina sighed, she kneeled down next to me. And then, she kissed me. I was completely flustered. My vision instantly cleared up, my face felt hot. Valentina had fallen asleep on me. I smiled.
"Competition."Aella nudged Erik(Who, might I add, looked completely heart broken.)
"She's all yours, owl boy,"I paused, "Treat her right."I added.
"Y--Yeah."Erik carefully threw Valentina over his shoulder.
And we were on our way. Back on our journey to hell. Valentina mumbled things in her slumber while Erik struggled to carry her. We were currently in Des Moines. And we needed to be... in Seattle. Yikes.
"Is anyone else... really tired of being a Demi-demon?"Erik wondered, paying for train tickets.
"So tired."I answered.
"I'm confused how I'm still alive,"Muttered Aella. We boarded our train, I was sort of jittery that a dragon would drop me in a ditch again. Valentina softly snored, making me think back to our kiss earlier. Wow. That felt... amazing. Though, I would let Erik have his moment of glory. I opened one of Aella's books, reading it. But... I just couldn't focus. I had trouble focusing. Sometimes I would day dream mid-conversation.
And the train went on it's way.
