I was remembering a lot.
I suddenly begain to regret throwing my stones away. Those had so many memories with them...
"Erik. Can you... remember?"Aella asked."Do you mean if I remember when we fought that demon hag? When I stabbed Satan? When you played fetch with a giant Hell-hound? Yeah, I remember."I stood up, smiling.
Aella looked like she wanted to hug me, though, she didn't. But Valentina did, making me blush.
"That 'memory of mine' is all fixed, are we rethinking that dating thing?"I asked, smirking."Hmmm... It's on my bucket list."Valentina pulled me into a kiss.
"Uhm... hellooo? I'm still here! Anyone gonna thank me for my courage?"Octavia asked.
"Right, It took bravery to summon your dad like that, Octavia. I could never summon my dad with such courage."Valentina smiled. Lilith seemed to already be gone.Suddenly, the cabin door bursted open, Loona stood at the door, panting.
"Ez- Ezra- h- he left!"Loona said in between breaths. Of course. Something good happens and now this.I hugged Loona, "Missed you!"I yelled, "You're back?!"She asked.
"YEAH!"I said."FOLLOW-"Loona panted, "ME!"
We all ran to the director's cabin with her. Beatriz and Jade stood at a table.
"He... left a note."Beatriz said, showing us a note. I took it from her hands."Going to find Ellisse since no one else would. If I don't return, I'm sorry. -Ezra."I read aloud
"Ezra! You idiot!"Aella scowled. Jade rolled their eyes, making me squint at them."Look, we'll send out a search party or something. But Ezra sent himself out on a suicide mission, whether he knew that or not, he probably wont survive."Jade yawned, Beatriz nodded.
"You can't just-"Loona was cut off by Jade. "Search party. Were all tired. Campfire's in ten minutes, now stop bothering us."Jade sneered.
"Yeah! You guys can lead songs!"Beatriz smiled. I grumbled, walking away. Valentina was at my side, she seemed pretty annoyed on my behalf. The others followed.
After campfire, I headed into my cabin. I didn't have many siblings, two or three more. Octavia sometimes stayed in the Stolas cabin, too. Since being alone sucked. I took my new and only stone from my pocket, staring at it with a frown. I finally had my memories back, I had a girlfriend, and I wasn't insane anymore. And yet... I felt sad and empty. Ezra had run away. I was stripped of my favorite objects that memories were tied to.
But I let myself slip into unconciousness, I let my dreams consume me. I wondered if I would ever get a break from all of this quest stuff.
