First day of school

*Katie is 5*

"Katie! Time to get up!" I hear Will yell from downstairs. I groan in response and hide my face in my pillow not moving.

After a few minutes I hear footsteps before my door bursts open. "Katie! I'm serious you can be late for school!" Will says.

"Me no go to school Will! It looks scawy." I said quickly.

"Katie.. school is a fun place! You'll meet new friends, have fun classes, and you get a nap time" Will says.

I lift my head up from the pillow to look at him. He has a small smirk on his face as he combs his fingers through my messy hair. "I get nap time?" I ask quietly.

Will chuckles a little. "Yes, yes you do."

I get a small smile on my face. "Can Jay Jay help me pick out an outfit?" I ask Will.

"I sure can munchkin." Jay says while walking into my room.

I sit back with a smile as I watch Jay and Will looking through my closet.

"How about this?" Jay asks pulling out a pink t-shirt and a pair of light blue shorts.

I nod my head. "Yeah! Thanks Jay Jay! Thanks Will! Can one of you help me do my hair when I'm done?"

They nod before walking out and letting me get dressed. When I'm done Will comes and does my hair while Jay packs my bag for me.

"Alright munchkin we got to go!" Jay yells up the stairs.

I slowly make my way down. "I don't want to go anymore.. can't I come to work with you Jay Jay?" I ask.

Jay crouches down infront of me. "Sweetie.. it's your first day of kindergarten! Your going to have so much fun! Way more fun than sitting in the break room.." Jay says.

I just sigh and make grabby hands for him. I may be 5 but I still like being held by my brother's sometimes.

Jay smiles and picks me up swing me around a little making me giggle.

"Jay Jay!" I say between giggles. He chuckles before stopping letting me hold on to him, hiding my face in his neck.

"Alright you two.. we gotta go!" Will says with a smile from behind us.

I lift me head out of Jay's neck before looking at the door and hiding my face again gripping Jay just a little tighter.

Jay sighs before sitting down on a chair with me still in his lap and putting my shoes on for me while Will grabs my bag and goes out to his car.

Jay stands up, locks the door and carries me to his truck. He sets me down in the backseat and buckles me up. I look up at him with a pout on my face.

He smiles a little bit before lifting my cheeks up with his fingers making me smile. I giggle slightly while prying his fingers off my face. He chuckles and closes my door making his way to the driver's seat before we start our way to school.

I turn in my seat and see Will following us. They both agreed to take me into class then go separate ways for work.

We pull up to school and I shrink down in my booster seat. Jay parks the truck and looks back at me with a smile.

"Munchkin I promise you! Your gonna love school alright? Your gonna make a bunch of friends!" Jay reassures me.

I nod my head lightly and let him come take me out of the truck. He goes to set me down on the ground but my grip tightens on him not letting go.

Jay looks over at Will with a small smile.

We make our way in the school. Jay walks me down a hall to a door with kindergarten spelt across it in big lettering. Will opens the door and the first thing I hear is kids laughing. I lift my head up from Jay's neck and look around the room.
