I am so sorry! Lately between my baseball, volleyball, and homework I haven't had any spare time to update this book.

I've been really stressed out recently and my anxiety has gotten alot worse.

I really am trying to post more when I have free time.

Please don't be mad if this chapter sucks as it was very rushed.

*Katie is 18*

"Katie! Customers in aisle 45 need help!" I hear my boss say as he walks in our lunch room.

"Alright! I say and get up walking out of the room.

Days like these are when I wish I was still in highschool. This job sucks! I definately need to start looking for a new one with better pay, hours, and a better boss.

I help the customer before looking at the time to realize my shift is over. I go sign myself out before packing my bag, saying by to my co workers and leaving the store.

I start my car and drive to Dunkin donuts to grab a box of donuts to bring to Jay and the rest at intelligence.

"Well hello there chuckles junior! Whatcha got there?" Is the first thing I hear as I walk into the district. I look up and see a smiling Sargent Platt looking at me.

I smile. "Well I decided to grab a box of donuts and surprise the team as I'm done work.. you want one?" I ask.

"Of course I do come here." She instructs.

I chuckle and walk over to her opening up the box for her to choose a donut.

"Mm thanks Kate! I'll buzz you up." She says while eating her donut.

I smile. "Thanks Trudy!" I wave before walking up the steps to intelligence.

As I make it to the top, 6 heads turn my way.

"Katie? What are you doing here?" Jay asks worriedly as he stands up.

I laugh quietly. "Relax Jay! I got off work and decided to surprise you guys with a box of donuts!" I say while putting the box down on Kevin's desk before turning to Jay and hugging him.

"Oooh don't mind if I do!" Adam says before grabbing a donut immediately. "Thanks Kate!" He says through a mouth full of donut.

I laugh and nod at him as Kim scolds him for talking with food in his mouth.

Kevin, Jay, Kim, and Hank grab a donut before saying thanks and eating them while Hailey comes up to me.

"Hey! How was work?" She asks before giving me a hug.

I notice everyone's attention on us before looking back at her. "Same old same old... I really hate that job, I need to start looking for a new one."

She nods in understanding. "Yeah I had that with my first job. It'll take a while but you'll find the right one for you." She says.

I smile. "Yeah I hope so!" I say before we both grab a donut.

"Katie!!!" I hear someone yell before I'm attacked in a hug.

"Oof." I grunt from the force. I look down and see Makayla with her arms wrapped around my waist with a big smile on her face. I laugh slightly. "Hi Mak!"

"Mak! Careful!" Kim warns.

"Sorry.. I was just excited." Makayla mumbles quietly as she steps away from me.

"It's okay honey! I haven't seen you in ages! You want a donut?" I say as I grab the box and crouch down to her height.

She looks at Kim as if asking if she can. When Kim nods, she looks at me. I smile lightly and nod my head toward the box. She smiles and picks out a sprinkles donut.
