Rooftop Star Gazing

3rd POV

That night while everyone heads off to sleep Y/N leaves the ballroom heading to the roof. As he gets there he's met with the sound of various Grimm howling at the full moon. 

Looking at it he lets out a howl as well. The howling Grimm cease hearing Y/N. He smiles when the door opens. Y/N looks back to see Ruby walking to him in her pajamas. 

Ruby: "Hey."

Y/N simply maintains his gaze on the full moon.

Ruby: "Sure is a pretty night. Isn't it?"

Y/N: *yips*

Ruby: "You're not much of a talker are you?"

Y/N: *lows*

Ruby: "Can you even speak?"

Y/N: *whines*

She pats his back.

Ruby: "Aw. Well don't worry, I can teach you."

Y/N purrs as they watch the moon. That morning Y/N slumps over his food growling as he gorges himself. Velvet then taps his shoulder.

Velvet: "Excuse me, but may I please sit with you?"

Y/N looks at her. He then grunts going back to eating. Taking it as a yes Velvet sits close by his side. But she's soon confronted by a major racist by the name of Cardin Winchester. He sits down next to Velvet causing her to become scared.

Cardin: "Well what do we have here?"

Velvet: "Please leave me alone Cardin."

Cardin: "Animals aren't allowed at the table."

Y/N emits a growl at the insult.

Cardin: "Get lost you buck toothed grass muncher."

He slides Velvet's tray off the table ruining her food.

Cardin: "Now dumb rabbit."

Y/N slams his fist down on the table cracking it.

Cardin: "Got something you wanna say wimp?"

Y/N gets up. Cardin's eyes widen as Y/N begins towering over him. Cardin starts shaking as Y/N narrows his gaze while emitting a low growl. Then in the blink of an eye Y/N slams his foot into Cardin's chest. The impact rockets Cardin backwards through the cafeteria window. Y/N then looks down at Velvet as she becomes afraid.

Velvet: "P-please don't h-hurt me."

Y/N reaches for her causing her to flinch. But instead of hurting her he gently pats her head. She looks at him as he gives her a small smile. She looks down returning it and leaning into his touch. After comforting her he and the others head to Beacon Cliff. 

Ozpin: "For years you've all trained to become warriors. And today you'll be tested."

Glynda: "In response to rumors on teams and teammates. They're true and you'll be given them today."

Ozpin: "The first person you see upon landing shall be your teammate. Once you've partnered up head to the north end of the forest. There you're to gather a relic and bring it back here to get a grade. Our instructors will watch over you but won't intervene. Be sure to kill anything that stands in your way or you'll surely die. Any questions?"

Jaune: "Yes, sir?"

Ozpin: "Good. Take your positions."

They do as Y/N is the first to be launched into the forest. Beginning his descent he grabs a branch. But as soon as he does the branch snaps sending him plummeting towards the ground. He slams his head onto a branch then lands on his ribs cracking two. 

He finally lands face first on the ground. He gets up then grabs his broken ribs. Pain consumes his side. He then whines as he gently rubs them. Normally an aura would have already healed him. But since Y/N is mostly Grimm he's left without an aura. Meaning a serious injury could very well mean his end. 

Pushing past the pain he limps north. A few yards in he comes across a sleuth of Ursai. The Major locks eyes with Y/N. It lows before looking down back at the recent kill. Ignoring the sleuth he comes to the relic temple. Grabbing his he heads back to the cliff. It's there he sees Ruby and the others fighting both a Deathstalker and a Nevermore.

Seeing a challenger Y/N morphs into a Lancer taking flight to the Nevermore. Landing on top of it he switches to a Beringel. Y/N repeatedly pounds the back of the Nevermore's neck. A loud crack is heard as the Nevermore bursts into dust. 

Y/N lands on the ground. Looking forward he sees Ruby about to be stung by the Deathstalker. Acting fast Y/N launches himself at the Deathstalker as a Alpha Beowolf. Getting on its face he claws out its eyes blinding it. 

It randomly stings the ground hoping to kill Ruby. Y/N however grabs her by the back of her hood lifting her up. He then sinks his claws under the Deathstalker's chin. With a mighty tug he rips off the Deathstalker's head. Seeing his victory Y/N sets Ruby down as she looks at him.

Ruby: "Thank you."
