At Last

3rd POV

Entering the Academy we see no one, not even Lionheart there. This puts the fighters on edge.

Yang: "Wasn't Lionheart supposed to be here?"

Qrow: "Something's not right."

Emerald: "You'd be correct."

All of a sudden Emerald makes herself seen.

Ruby: "What're you doing here?"

Emerald: "Helping with a plan."

Weiss: "Which would be?"

Emerald: "Capturing him."

She points. Everyone follows her finger.

Y/N: "Why's everyone so interested in me?"

Emerald: "Our master craves you. She wants what's hers by her side."

Y/N: "Well tell your master I'll never join her side. I'll always stand by my friends. If your master wants me then she'll have to come get me herself."

Emerald: "She just might."

She snaps her fingers. This makes a gunshot be fired hitting Ruby in the back. She falls forward through a portal appearing in front of Emerald. She then holds her blades to Ruby's neck.

Y/N: "Ruby!!!"

Emerald: "I'll only say this once. Stand down and come with us. Do that and your little girlfriend here lives."

Anger swells inside of him. The person he cares about is being used as bait to lure him out. His animalistic side boils over as his eyes burst red. Then as he hollers he morphs into a Borbatusk. At blinding speed he rushes at Emerald. 

She smiles as a red portal appears in front of him. He falls through disappearing; after a second of two he reappears high slamming face first on the ground. Annoyed he tries again. The portal reappears but Y/N hops over it getting closer to Emerald. Raven then comes out of hiding bringing her sword down on Y/N.

Qrow/Yang: "Raven/mom!?!"

Y/N hops over Raven landing on top of Emerald. Raven uses another portal to teleport Ruby to her. She tries to escape but Raven applies pressure making Ruby wince. This pained noise fuels Y/N's anger making him madder.

He screams morphing into a Beringel. He brings down his mighty fists instantly bringing Emerald down. He grabs her ankle slamming her onto the ground continuously. Mercury intervenes by coming in with a kick. Y/N dodges latching onto Mercury's robotic leg.

While Y/N fights the others move in for support. But they're cut off by Vernal, Hazel, Watts and some other hired hands. Back at Y/N we see him rip off Mercury's leg. He then slams Emerald on top of him. Y/N faces Raven who still maintains her grip on Ruby.

Raven: "This doesn't have to involve her. Just stand down and come with us."

Y/N only snarls as his instincts continue to dominate his mind. He morphs into a Beowolf. He then walks to Raven while dragging his claws along the floor sharpening them. When he gets close he swings upwards slicing the arm holding Ruby.

Raven screams in pain when Y/N punches her across the academy. As she picks herself up Y/N slams her back down by the nape of her neck. After picking her up he drags his claws down her chest tearing away her armor. 

Raven manages to ram her sword through Y/N causing him to roar. He drops Raven allowing her to slice open his chest. Cut after cut Y/N's skin is torn open causing lacerations. Raven finishes another slice before withdrawing a small pistol.

She opens fire at Y/N. Some bullets ricochet off of him while some sink into his skin. One bullet bounces off and barely grazes Ruby's shoulder. This still causes her to release a shout of pain. Y/N turns his head spotting the damage. Wrath now fills his eyes which fall on Raven. 

In a flash he slams his claws into Raven's stomach causing her to slouch forward. Y/N then brings down his claws sending Raven into the scorpion position. Raven tries to crawl away but Y/N flips her onto her back pinning her down with his foot. He raises his claws for the killing blow. Raven's life flashes before her eyes when in a blur Ruby rushes in hugging Y/N.

Ruby: "It's okay Y/N. I'm okay. You can calm down now."

He only growls still transfixed on killing Raven. Ruby looks up at Y/N, her silver eyes piercing into his red ones.

Ruby: "I know you want to keep me safe. You give your life to make that happen. I know you're angry but you have to let it go. You're not an animal Y/N. You're a boy. A boy that I love."

Ruby's confession of love breaks through Y/N's animal warped mind. He lows lowering his claws. Ruby further confesses her love by standing on her tip toes and kissing Y/N's lips. He wraps his arms around her as he slowly morphs back to his human form. When he's back to normal they break the kiss staring into each other's eyes.

Y/N: "I love you too."

She smiles laying her head on his chest. Raven uses this moment to escape via a portal. Meanwhile cops finally arrive arresting the bad guys. As Y/N and Ruby embrace one another Qrow smiles but soon loses it. While he's glad Ruby found someone, it won't be easy for them.

Since she can kill Grimm with a stare and Y/N can turn into Grimm their relationship will come with a list of problems. But none will compare to the people of the world. If they find out they'll stop at nothing to destroy the forbidden romance.
