New Revelation

3rd POV

Y/N opens his eyes to see snow everywhere. Sitting up he sees everyone getting to their feet.

Qrow: "Anyone hurt?"

Y/N: "Bruised but otherwise okay."

Maria: "Fit as a fiddle."

They look to see Maria Calavera walking out of a train car. They all roll their eyes  before collecting their bags. As Y/N collects his he spots a scroll laying on the ground.

Y/N: "Hey did somebody lose their scroll?"

They all voice no.

Y/N: "Then who's this?"

He shows it to the others. He then opens it displaying a photo of Hazel and his sister.

Yang: "That's that big guy from Haven. How'd we get his scroll?"

Y/N: "I don't know. Maybe he left it on the train when he used it."

Weiss: "Hey maybe it has something that'll help us fight against Salem."

Blake: "Wouldn't hurt to check."

Y/N checks all the apps. But the only thing he finds is pictures and videos of Hazel and his sister. But when he clicks on one of the playing apps he's asked for a password.

Yang: "Strange, why would an app ask for a password?"

Ruby: "Something tells me it's hiding something important."

Weiss: "But we won't be able to find out unless we know the password."

Blake: "Allow me."

She grabs the scroll. After tapping a sequence of buttons they're allowed inside the app.

Yang: "How?"

Blake: "I have my ways."

They shrug looking through the app's storage. 

Qrow: "Look a video."

Y/N taps on it making it play. 

*on video* 

We see Salem standing with an older looking male.

Salem: "I'm entrusting you with a great job."

Ben: "I told you, it'll be done."

Salem: "You say that. But for some reason I get this feeling you'll screw up."

Ben: "I'm the best geneticist south of Atlas. If anyone can do this it's me."

She looks down slightly.

Salem: "This procedure is very delicate. If it works then I'll finally be granted a child. I already lost one. I can't bear to lose another. I need everything to go perfectly."

Ben: "And it will. You just gotta have faith in me. We've already extracted the necessary DNA from your egg sample. All we gotta do now is just combine it with the Grimm essence you provided and you'll finally have a child."

Salem: "Do what you must. I'll be eagerly awaiting the result."

She takes her leave. Josh then walks in from an adjacent room.

Josh: "Are we really gonna create her a child?"

Ben: "Of course not. We have an opportunity to create a super weapon. I'd be an idiot for passing it up."

Josh: "When she catches wind of this she'll come after you."

Ben: "Let her. By the time she does I'll have her little progeny under my command."

*video end* 

Y/N lowers the scroll taking in the new information. 

Ruby: "You okay Y/N?"

Y/N: "No I don't think I am."

He takes a seat as his legs threaten to buckle.

Qrow: "What's going on kid?"

Y/N: "That older male Salem was talking to. His name was Ben."

Yang: "How do you know him?"

Y/N: "He was the guy who created me."

Weiss: "Wait, that means..."

Y/N: "I was the child that Salem had tasked Ben with creating."

Their eyebrows raise at the revelation. 

Maria: "Is anyone else lost, or is it just me?"

Y/N lays his chin on his interlaced hands when Ruby gently holds them.

Ruby: "It's okay Y/N. This won't change our feelings of you. We're here for you, forever and always."

He looks at them to see them smiling. This in turn makes him smile.

Maria: "Hate to break whatever this is up but it'll be dark soon. I suggest we find somewhere to camp unless you wanna spend all night fighting off Grimm."

Qrow: "She's right, let's get moving."

They all gather their bags and head down the road. After a few minutes they all look up.

Weiss: "Snow's increasing."

Qrow: "Meaning a blizzard's coming. We need to find somewhere to hold up for the night."

Y/N: "I hear something."

I focus my hearing and walk towards the sound. A couple meters in I find a gate that leads into a small estate.

Qrow: "Not bad kid."
