Something weird happened that day.
It was 5th period on a Friday.
It was raining.
It was cold.
Well, I heard something unexpected.
The period was almost over when Parker came up to me and told me that you liked me.

"He likes you." Parker whispered.
"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked.
"He told us." Parker said.
"Um...oh look, the bell's about to ring. Nice talking to you!" I said with an awkward smile.

"Hi what's eating you up. You look...uh...really serious." Aliya asked me, waving her fork around.
I shook my head.
"We'll be right back." Raina said, as she grabbed my arm.
"Ouch. What was that for?" I asked, rubbing my arm.
"Are you kidding me? He likes you? You didn't tell me!"
"I found out 5th period...gosh." I told her. "Why do you care. It's my business."
"Oh my gosh, you like him still, don't you?!" I asked her.
"No. Not really. But I'm just warning you, don't get hurt." She said.
"Who said I was going to do anything?"

It was raining, and I was walking to my car, which was parked quite far from school.
The parking lot was way too crowded.
I was the only one out there though, I had to take a test, that I was absent for.
That's when I saw you.
Running towards me, calling my name.
"Why are you running?" I asked, looking at your face that was red.
"They told you."
"Told me what?"
"I like you."
