THEN

"Saoirse! Saoirse! Damnit!" Trevor had turned back to Brandi, jaw clenched, fists turning white. He did this to himself, and he didn't even know why he did it.

"Was that your 'girlfriend'?" Brandi laughed. "She looks like a mess, no wonder you want me." Brandi wrapped her arms around Trevor's waist. "Come back to bed." Trevor wished he could just forget, that he could just continue with his night like planned, but seeing Saoirse's face so broken, so hurt...

"No."

"What?" Brandi didn't remove her arms from him.

"Get out of my house." He stated as he pulled himself out of her grip.

"What?" Brandi bit out, arms crossed, eyes squinting with disbelief.

"Get the hell out of my damn house Brandi!" Trevor screamed and moved to put more clothes on. If he hurried he could catch Saoirse, try and patch things up. He could try and convince her that-

"Are you serious?" Brandi called still only partially clothed but completely pissed off.

"Get out." He said again, and threw her clothes at her as he walked out the already open door.

"Trevor!" She started to dress following him out, he stumbled down the stairs in a hurry and twisted his ankle. "Trevor!" She screamed again following him, she was barefoot and didn't bring a jacket so when the fall almost winter breeze hit them she quivered and clutched onto Trevor. He searched the area not realizing the car alarm going off was his.

"Damnit," Trevor swore over and over again as he moved to his smashed car. "Saoirse!" Trevor screamed searching for her in the darkened street lights.

"That bitch do this?"

"God Brandi, what are you still doing here?" She opened her lip injected mouth to protest. "Go home!"

"Well," she huffed out a breath and made a move to go back to his apartment to get the rest of clothes. "You are a real asshole," she called over her shoulder.

"I know," he muttered as he picked up the 9 iron on the ground beside his tire. He always wanted to take Saoirse to the golf course and by the looks of his car, she had a great swing. Trevor gripped the club in his hand, staring so intently at the shards of glass that he didn't hear anything outside of that moment. He didn't hear the cops pull up, he didn't hear Brandi slam the apartment complex door in a fit of rage. Trevor most certainly didn't hear the conversation two brothers were having just a few cars away.

"Yeah, it's nothing." Trevor said angered and cold.

"This doesn't look like nothing." The officer stated as he walked around the car examining it further with his flashlight.

"Can I see some identification."

"This is my car." Trevor informed them.

"Identification please," the officer stated once again.

"One second, all my stuff is upstairs, I wasn't planning on..." getting caught cheating on my girlfriend and having her smash my car, then being accused of smashing my own car... "Can I go get it? My key and I.D.?" The officers looked at one another.

"Sure, but I'm going to need to go with you." Trevor nodded and started for his apartment but remembered that Brandi was still going to be there. She was probably redoing her makeup and hoping Trevor would change his mind or smashing up his apartment.

"Actually, can we deal with this tomorrow?"

"It doesn't work like that sir."

"Trevor Waters, this is my car, you can take it and I can-" the radio went off and the officer leaned back to listen.

"A girl named Sarah Greer just called in about this, said she smashed it up. You know a Sarah Greer?"

"Saoirse Greer?" Trevor said mindlessly, still holding the club in his hand. The officer asked the radio again and the voice came back scratchy.

"First name S-A-O-I-R-S-E, last name G-R-E-E-R."

"She is my, was my girlfriend." Trevor laughed at the thought that Saoirse smashed his car and then turned herself in. "I'm a dick and I deserved it. Can I handle this tomorrow? I can't handle this today."

"Give me your info and give us a call tomorrow. We will settle things with your girlfriend."

"Thank you, and I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" One of the officers asked as he pulled out his business card.

"I think you are apologizing to the wrong people," the other officer offered.

"Have a nice rest of your night." Trevor nodded back at them as they pulled away.

"A nice night?" Trevor muttered as he headed back to deal with the after math of his apartment.

"Don't be calling me up next time you want to have some fun." Brandi hollered as she marched out the door.

"Don't worry, I won't," Trevor replied, she let out a huff.

"Excuse me." A tall, dark man from behind them asked, startling them. Trevor still hadn't made it inside his complex. The street lights were dim and half of them were broken, so he squinted in the dark to see the man. "You by chance know the time?"

"I can help you darling," Brandi slurred. She pulled out her pink sequin phone, "It's 9:57," she said brightly.

"Thank you, darling," he gave them a crooked smile. Upon further investigation Trevor noticed that the man was missing a tooth and his clothes were worn and tattered, but then again he didn't look the greatest either right now. Then within a moment the one man became two. They split in two and the second shorter man gave a similar snake smile and moved towards Brandi with such swiftness that Trevor didn't have time to move, no time to even think.
