1.

Her boyfriend went missing, well her ex-boyfriend. They had been dating for 3 years. She was 26 now and thought he was her forever, so when he cheated on her and broke her heart it was semi-understandable that she took a 9 iron to his car. But, then she was suspected of abducting him, which was a ridiculous accusation, but still the finger was pointed at her. How do you prove yourself innocent when you don't know what happened?

"What do you mean Trevor is missing?"

"Like you don't know," one of the detectives scoffed. The other detective let out a cough of annoyance.

"When did he go missing?" Saoirse questioned. "Who filed the report?"

"Worried you might get caught?" The same detective badgered. Again, the opposing detective coughed. At that she knew they were playing bad cop, good cop trying to get her to trust one and hate the other... it was working, but she honestly didn't know where Trevor was.

"What did you say your names were?" Saoirse leaned in her elbows as she watched them, watching her.

"Detective Coleman and Detective Irons." The coughing cop stated, pointing to his colleague and then himself.

"And how the heck do you pronounce your name sweetheart?" Coleman asked curiously while looking over her minuscule file. "It says, S-A-O-I... you sure your parents knew how to spell?" Saoirse rolled her eyes. "R-S-E? Say-oy-rise?" Coleman rose a brow in wait while Irons looked at the name as well, trying to figure it out.

"Sir-shah," Saoirse said clearly, "Sir-shah," her fingers now tapping along the worn table in an uneven pattern.

"You want to tell us what happened on the night of the 23rd?"

"What night was that exactly?" Saoirse asked dumbly, she knew what night that was, she knew what time she did it, she knew what the question implied, but it wasn't the answer they really wanted.

"It was a Thursday," Irons said, pulling the file out of Coleman's large hands. "You might remember better if you saw a picture?" Irons began to remove a glossy photo from the file, before seeing the picture Saoirse opened her mouth to speak, stopping them from humiliating her, from accusing her for something she had already confessed to.

"I smashed up Trevor's windshield," Saoirse said plainly. "Is that what you want me to say? I already told the insurance company and I said I would pay out of pocket to get it fixed and blah, blah, blah." Coleman smirked and took a sip of his coffee, tipping back in his chair slightly. Irons stayed standing. "I was upset." Saoirse bit out.

"Why was that sweetheart?" Coleman questioned, even though they already knew the answer.

"Keep calling me sweetheart and you will see what a real bitch I can be, hon."

"Alright," Irons kicked Coleman's chair upright while Saoirse leaned back in hers. "Why don't you start with what happened before you-"

"Smashed his car into pieces?" Coleman offered with a smile.

"Give me a 9 iron and see how much I appreciate your attitude!" She knew she wasn't helping her case, but she was tired and miserable and just found out her stupid cheating ex-boyfriend was missing, abducted. "I work at a hospital and I just got off a 48 hour shift, I'm not the most pleasant right now." She explained and tried to stay calm. She looked to Irons, he kept his head deep in his file.

"48 hours, you got an alibi?" Coleman questioned.

"48 hours?" Irons began and Coleman shot him a side glare. "Is it legal to work that long?" Saoirse groaned.
