PROLOGUE
There was something so relaxing, so soothing, about holding someone's heart in your hands. As it beat steadily and rhythmically, Prudence Durr couldn't help but frown when it stopped beating, when it stopped pumping blood. "He is dead," she confirmed to herself and carefully, meticulously cut the arteries that surrounded the heart, chopped away at the veins until the heart came free without any restrictions. She lifted the heart carefully out of its rib cage and looked down at the pool of blood within his chest cavity, and smiled.

"Who's ready for dinner?"
