NOW

"You wanted to talk about Trevor Waters?" Saoirse nodded, "then talk" Coleman said as he pulled out his chair for her. She rose a brow suspecting him to pull it from under her but took his kindness as an olive branch and sat down.

"Well I don't know anything" she stated knowing that's not what they wanted to hear "but I want to help" Coleman huffed out a laugh. "I honestly don't think I know anything of use but I know Trevor and... and... and I want to help, please let me help." Irons and Coleman looked at one another, hesitant but they were at a stand still, so why not.

"Sure, but you get in my way" Coleman warned.

"Thank you" Saoirse gushed "I won't get in your way, I promise."

They went over everything with her, it wasn't entirely legal but it wasn't illegal either to share information with pedestrians. Besides, she was part of their investigation.

Saoirse had been looking up missing persons cases and figured that if Trevor was taken then maybe his abductors took other people. She had brought with a stack of files all missing persons from the Middle Western states. Saoirse had found three more cases of missing people online that fit the same possible abductor scenario.

"Brother and sister, Isabella and Will Rush, Hannah Brighton, and Daniel Kemmer." Irons looked to Saoirse with amazement. "You did your research, very nice"

"I told you didn't know anything about Trevor but I thought that if I found"

"Good job" Coleman stated printing out the official polices files on Kemmer, Brighton and Rush and placed his coffee cup back on the desk.

"Anything I can do to help. Any I can do to help find him." She took a long sip of her tea, leaving lip stick stain on the cups rim.

"They were all from different areas but close enough to standout." Coleman stated as he brought out the rolling bulletin board and pinned up a map. Marking each missing person on the map.

"It doesn't mean they were all taken by the same person or peoples" Irons said "But it is peculiar that they are all of the same age and..."

"And what Brent?" Coleman questioned as he finished pinning the last persons location up. "What?" he spit out glancing over Brent's hunched shoulders. Saoirse moved to see what Brent was writing as well, they were all crouched around the desk.

"Cassie and Caleb, they were a pair." Coleman rose a brow and looked over the list. "Hannah and Daniel, were a pair."

"They have different last names though" Saoirse stated curiously wondering how he got a pair out of Brighton and Kemmer.

"They were both reported missing on the same day" Coleman said looking over the file.

"Could have been dating?" Saoirse questioned and they nodded in agreement.

"Isabella and Will are brother and sister," Coleman said catching on "Rodrigo and Sandra"

"Brother and sister." Saoirse said, they were picking people in pairs, they had a pattern.

"Trevor... he doesn't fit" Coleman stated, reviewing the list over and over again.

"Unless" Irons started and looked slightly to Saoirse, Coleman nodded. Saoirse wasn't looking up, she looked deeply at the names, at Trevor's name. "I think you were a target as well." Irons said softly.

"Me?" Saoirse couldn't fathom that, "what? Why?" Irons and Coleman's eyes met momentarily, they knew what they wanted to do, but knew it wouldn't be right. Coleman shook his head, no, they were not using her as bait.

"They took people in pairs-"

"But they left Brandi" the way Saoirse said Brandi's name was filled with disgust, anger, and hatred but also pity and worry.

"Yeah..." Irons didn't know what to think, it was stupid of them to take her only to dump her in a tree.

"Stay focused" Coleman said as he adjusted the map.

"How come we didn't notice these abductions sooner?" Irons stated unable to believe they were his arrogance.

"Different districts, different states even, it makes sense that they were never connected before. But this many so close together..."

"Maybe they are getting sloppy"

"Or bored" Saoirse offered, Irons and Coleman looked to her quizzically

"Bored?"

"They take these people fun? Maybe they wanted to see how many they could get maybe it's a game to them."

"Then what are they doing when they find the people? Where do they bring them? What do they do after they have them?"

"Store them"

"Kill them"

"Rape them"

"Cage them"

The list goes on and on, none of which comforted Saoirse in the slightest.

"Maybe you shouldn't be in on this conversation" Coleman said considerately thinking to the fact the Trevor Waters was her former boyfriend.

"But they left Brandi," Saoirse reasoned. "If they wanted a pair, well they were a pair." She said again pushing away the thought that Trevor might be... "They left her to die in that car." Saoirse sat back down in Irons officer chair. "They had two people, maybe it wasn't them" she said hopefully.

"Why do you think they didn't take Brandi Minnow?" Irons questioned flipping through the files

"Maybe Trevor isn't missing, maybe he's just" it was hopeful but useless. Saoirse knew that he was taken, it had been too long. He wouldn't scare every like, Brandi's still hospitalized state made it very clear that Trevor was not safe.

"We could use you as-" Brent Irons smacked Coleman on the head silencing him.

"No" he bit out, it would have been easy to use her as bait but they didn't know where to place her, where to go. All the victims were taken from so many different locations.

"Use me?" she questioned curiously.

"Never mind" Brent said calmly to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "It's late, thank you for all your help."

"Can I come back and help" Coleman let out a laugh, he would gladly let her run this case and take credit for the take down in the end but the closer she got... if they were right and they were coming back for their second person to make a pair, she couldn't be near this.

"We will let you know what we come up with." Coleman stated as he handed Saoirse her jacket. "I will walk you out" Saoirse nodded but didn't want to leave.

"Thank you," she turned back to Irons and Coleman placed his hand on her back, guiding her out. "Thank you both" her eyes darted between them. "For letting me help, I really appreciate it." She turned back to the door where Coleman opened it for her, told her to be safe then immediately had an officer follow her from a distance.

"Keep a close eye on her, she might be the next target." Coleman said as the man ran for his car. Then again maybe the safest place for her would be right next to them.
