Epilogue

Maximum security wasn't maximum enough.

"We need one of those prisons like from Arrow or the Flash, heck even Supergirl has an alien prison within the DEO."

"What are you talking about?"

"Television." The guard stated, "something people watch for pleasure." She rolled her eyes, away from her companion. "Well these lunatics have been transferred twice, no one can handle them."

"We are better than other maximum security prisons, obviously." They waited while chatting pleasantly for the reinforced truck to pulled up, but it never came.

"Play dead" Hector told Prudence when they felt the sedation working, "play dead until you are strong enough." He muttered to her, she nodded and let her eyes fall closed. Hector nudged her foot when they were in the transport vehicle she opened her eye slightly then closed it. The guards were supposed to be on guard, guns at the ready but with their company unconscious they had a moment of weakness while they discussed the recent football game. Apparently the team they were rooting for did good but Hector was done listening to a conversation about a sport he didn't care about.

"I never found the game all that interesting" Hector said as he unlocked his chains, grabbing the guards gun and forcing the weapon back into the man's head, leaving him dazed while the other guard tried to maneuver his gun in the tiny vehicle. Tried to aim at Hector but Hector was much too fast. The gun went off and he undid Prudence's chains.

"Impressive" she stated as she grasped the opposite guards gun and shot him in the leg. He moaned in pain. "What?" She questioned innocently. "Might as well go out with a bang." The doors flew open and Prudence smiled as she let the bullets fly. The pavement looked like a paintball fight had happened, as blood splattered in every direction.

"Shove them inside, I don't want to deal with bodies right now." She stated as she grabbed the keys of one of the bodies.

"You really think Drake is dead?" Hector asked as he slammed the door shut, dead officers inside. Long back roads, empty of all cars, of all houses, the gun fire would have rung out in the fading light but they would be long gone by the time anyone spotted the blood they left behind.

"I do." She said bitterly as she put the car in drive. They had a moment of silence for their brother as Prudence adjusted the cars seat and mirrors.

"Where are we going?" Hector questioned chumping down one of the guards left over Cheetos. "We can't go home, that's the first place they will be looking."

"We are not going home." She looked at the street sign when she got the end of the road, hesitated and turned left a wicked smile on her face.

Ring, ring.

Saoirse, Max and Brent jumped at the noise, tension filling the cold air as they walked down the dim pathway. Brent patted his jacket, searching for his phone.

"What is it?" He asked weakly into the phone as Saoirse put her hair up in a ponytail. "What?" His voice grew with rage and his hands clenched so tightly around his phone his knuckles turned white. "How did this happen?" he screamed, Saoirse eyes went wide, she looked to Max for information but he shrugged his shoulders just as confused. "How long?" His voice quieted but only slightly. "How many?" His voice grew even but his eyes wavered with panic. He hit end and took a deep breath but unable to breathe. The air wouldn't go into his lungs, his chest felt like his heart was ripped out for the second time this past month. He clutched at his throat and let out shaky breaths as he threw his phone to the ground.

"What? What's happening?"

"Brent breathe" Saoirse put a hand on his hand, pulling it away from his neck. He hunched over unable to produce words. "Why don't you sit down" she suggested but he shook his head no.

"What happened?" Max urged impatiently. "Who was on the phone?"

"Agnes" he said after what felt like an eternity of waiting.

"Is she hurt?"

"Where did I park my car?" Max pointed the key down the street listening for a beep. Brent sucked in a deep breath.

"What's going on?" Saoirse asked confused.

"Ag-" he repeated again marching unsteadily towards Max's car.

"Brent speak words" Max stated slowly, he relocked his car showing he wasn't going anywhere until he had answers.

"Brent what happened?" Saoirse had a gentler touch.

"They took her. They took Agnes."
