Elissa's ability was a bit like Rime and Ardor's, she could send heat and cold in shapes; balls, daggers, arrows... anything she could think of. Ethan was impressed with her ability, he wanted to test her ability himself but the warning Elissa and Mayne gave about the defense that was trained into them at a young age was new and concerning. So here he sat as Rime, Ardor and Elissa were in their first training session. Reluctant and frustrated Ethan sat against the far wall calculating her defense in his mind. Excited at her skill, irritated but watching and judging "if you don't get Elissa to open up, she won't unlock her full potential."

"Shut it Ethan," Ardor quickly ducked as an attack barely missed him.

"Would you pay attention!" Ethan bellowed, the desire inside him to ring a few necks was increasing dramatically as he watched the twins try and fail to train Elissa.

"That's kinda hard to when you are barking at us!" Ardor landed a blow that startled her activating her defenses that sent attacks in wild directions.

"Focus!" Ethan bellowed at her "You are safe, deactivate the defense system." Elissa frowned her nerves fraying more and more; she didn't like this at all. "Relax, this is just fun and games" Ethan was still trying to sort this all out. "This is nothing serious." Ardor launched a shot at her, she blocked it and sent it back to him irritating him more than he already was due to the fight with Mayne. He launched volleys at her wildly "ARDOR!" Ethan was ready to spank him.

Elissa glared at Ardor, muttering about his attitude her eyes started to glow and the balls of heat she was sending started to spark. A stray attack launched in anger at Ardor hit Rime right in the butt "Fuck!" Rime jumped and started to pat his but to put out the fire.

"Time out" Ethan rubbed his forehead "we are getting nowhere."

Rime looked at Elissa "Go hit the gym," He ordered while rubbing his sore butt. Elissa glared at Ardor as she left, heading for the gym to cool off in the pool; doing laps.

"Change of subject time..." Ardor walked over and sat down by Ethan "have you found anything new about VARE?"

"No," Ethan sighed "I'm missing something right under my nose, I know it."

Rime came over and leaned against the wall "have you compared the list of survivors to the VARE records?"

"Yes, multiple times." Ethan sighed in frustration

"What about comparing the victims to the list of survivors..." Ardor was deep in thought and didn't notice Ethan and Rime suddenly turning to look at him. "What?" He took a deep breath, feeling Rime's thoughts before he noticed their faces "Then see how that matches the events of that day?"

"No, I haven't tried that." Ethan stood up and darted out of the training hall.
