Once again after a rough night and a quick shower Mayne took a small breakfast and prepared to do her chores but this time she was stopped by a house worker.

"No," he raised his hand to block Mayne from continuing "miss Kura has been instructed that she will be doing your chores for the week for her lies." He smiled at her and walked away.

"Okay," she thought "this should be interesting." Mayne left and made her way around to her scheduled appointments one by one and once again by noon she was done. "Now what" just as she asked, a vision started that gave her the answer. Mayne made her way to the Restaurant around the corner where she placed the order she had seen, after it was ready she left quickly. Arriving at the Whittle house right as she had foreseen, she approached the elderly woman who sat alone on the steps clearly terrified. "Hi, my name is Mayne, I am a friend of your grandson's Ardor and Rime" she sat down across from her on the walk up to the steps of the house "I hope you don't mind if I wait with you, I brought lunch" she smiled at the elderly woman "are you hungry?"

"Yes," she smiled but her lip quivered with a bit of confusion. She patted the step beside her and smiled again at Mayne, her eyes shown of the wisdom she held inside but there was something blocking it that Mayne couldn't understand.

She obliged and move to the step beside her "What is your name?" Mayne opened and handed the woman one of the plates of food and opened the other one for herself. Quietly she wondered why the vision didn't tell her about the block.

"Please just call me Grammy" she smiled as she took a bite, "Yum, my favorite" Mayne could see the block crumbling in her eyes and suddenly it made sense to her.

They sat and chatted pleasantly about the woman's youth and her family while they ate until the Whittle's arrived home. Ardor was the first to approach "Grammy! What are you doing here, shouldn't you be at Aunt Nettie's place?"

"Nonsense, Nettie just locks me in the basement while she's gone, I snuck the key and have been having a wonderful lunch with your young friend here." She grinned at him widely "She brought me my favorite." Grammy showed him the now empty plate "I like her, you must keep her."

Ardor blushed trying to figure out how to correct her without revealing too much to Mayne "Grammy you know that is her decision to make" he tried to smile away the embarrassment "that is not our decision to make for her."

"Why don't we all go inside." Clearly Rime was enjoying his twins embarrassment.

Mayne sat quietly through all of this as visions confused her mind. If I attempt anything with them I will loose them both she thought, ready to break. She sighed wondering why, as she returned to the matter that was addressed in the earlier vision "I think Rime is correct, why don't we go inside as they go collect your things from Nettie's house, a basement is no place for a lady." She smiled at Grammy making her giggle like a little girl.
