When Mayne slept she dreamed of the events that had led up to where she was, but this time is wasn't about the dark aspects that she lingered on. She saw the people that she had saved, and the people that had helped her after the whole nightmare. When she woke up she had realized something; the people around her were put there for a reason. They were just like her parents had said often about her; they had something big to contribute to the world. She just needed to give them a chance, Mayne thought about how she had argued with her parents so much over this, her opinion was contrary to theirs because she believed that the world doesn't revolve around the Elite. "Good morning" Mayne was laying on her side facing the bunk beds and Ardor was cuddled behind her. She had made up her mind before she even opened her eyes, she was going to be honest. Rime leaned over and kissed her cheek, then Ardor did the same. "I could get used to that" she smiled as she opened her eyes.
"Good morning," Rime smiled at her as Ardor nuzzled her from behind kissing her neck.
"I need to tell you both something before I lose my nerve to." She shivered at the memory of the visions she had of Vivian Black.
"About what?" Ardor saw her face scrunch up the way she did when she was nervous; he was now concerned.
"I've had multiple visions of Vivian Black, in some of which she is holding conversations with people I can't see... but I can hear the conversation." She frowned "all of the voices are creepy, the visions always say she is dangerous, and I have to avoid her at all cost."
"What about the other voices?" Rime was watching Ardor for clues about what his ability was saying, was there more to this than Mayne realized, gently they urged her to the truth she didn't realize she knew "anything you can tell us about them?"
"One sounds familiar..." She shuddered at the question "I just know I need to be careful," she brushed of the memories "I know the visions always tell me who to trust."
"Like us," Rime smiled
"Yes," she smiled back at him "and it said to refer to Ian Todd as my Godfather to protect myself." She backed up a bit cuddling into Ardor's arms behind her without rolling over "I honestly doubted that would work as well as it did. Vivian... She is after something." Mayne frowned "like a dog going after someone who stole their bone." She giggled "I said bone Ardor not boner."
"Can't help it, you inspire me." Ardor kissed the back of her head.
"Vivian Black," Rime wondered "do you think you can recognize the other voices if you hear them again?"
"Yes. I have been listening for the one voice that was familiar but I haven't found it." He frowned "It's annoying; I know that voice... I just can't place it." She looked at Rime who was just smiling at her gently, waiting for her to get back to him. "I'm not sure how that will help."
