Lauren decided against telling Camila that she was going on an educational trip, and instead decided to tell her the truth, or at least her version of it, that she simply wanted to spend the first few days of the week with her two best friends, and her brother, in Tallahassee, without her girlfriend. Which sounded highly unlikely, even to Lauren who had fabricated the story all by herself. If she was truthful she wanted nothing more than to spend the week with Camila, wrapped up in her bed sheets, watching cartoons, but no, her friends said she needed to take some time, put some space between her and the beautiful Cuban she'd fallen so incredibly in love with, and sometimes she agreed, maybe she did need some time to make sure she was sure before she told Camila that she was in love with her, not just that she loved her. But the thing was, she was sure. She'd never been more sure about anything. She was as sure of her love for Camila as she was of the oxygen she breathed, and the heartbeat in her chest. And she had told the brown eyed girl that she was leaving, and now they were laying in her bed, watching one another more than the cartoons playing from the television mounted on the wall.
"You're staring," Camila said, breaking Lauren's train of thought, her fingers reaching forward to trace the outline of the green eyed girls jawline. Lauren smiled, lifting her hand to lace her fingers together with Camila's.
"I can't help it," Lauren whispered blissfully, pressing a soft, affectionate kiss to Camila's lips.
"Yeah well you're you going to have to if you're going to be in Tallahassee for a few days," Camila said, shattering the fantasy Lauren was playing over and over in her head of them spending the rest of Spring Break entangled with one another.
"It's okay, I'll still have Mani and Lex to stare at," Lauren teased, a smirk on her lips. Camila slapped her playfully on the arm, acting as though she was offended by Lauren's teasing comment.
"I'm really going to miss this... To miss you," Camila mumbled, inching closer to Lauren, closing any space that remained between their scantily clad bodies. The girls were dressed in nothing but their underwear after being too lazy to get changed since they returned from Texas the night before.
"Just think of all the crazy reunion sex we'll have when I get back," Lauren teased, tracing lazy patterns on Camila's thigh, which was easlily accessible to her as Camila had one leg wrapped around her waist.
"Lauren!" Camila exclaimed, her eyes widening in shock of how vulgar Lauren had been in her comment.
"What... I know we were both thinking it," Lauren shrugged, a smile on her lips that couldn't be described with words.
"Who's making this all about sex now?" Camila teased, biting down on her bottom lip, her gaze holding Lauren's, a seductive glint in her brown eyes.
"Don't dare turn this back on me Camz," Lauren laughed, leaning forward in an attempt to capture Camila's lips in a long kiss.
"Nope, I don't want your kisses," Camila said, putting a finger to her lips.
Lauren pressed her lips against Camila's fingers, turning her head to bite down on her finger, producing a whelp from the younger girl who immediately scowled at Lauren, dropping her finger to her side. Lauren took the opportunity to place a long kiss on the corner of her mouth, her hand moving up to cup Camila's face as she deepened the kiss, taking a moment to take in everything about the girl, the way her soft lips fit with her own perfectly, how her leg tightened instinctively around her waist when she bit down playfully on her bottom lip, her hand finding her thigh to pull her closer, their bodies beginning to burn for one another, breathing ragged, kisses desperate and long, eyes alight with fire even when they were closed, hands on hips, thighs, hand on heart. Crazily in love. That's what they were. Camila broke the kiss, gasping for a long breath, a lazy smile on her lips as she fell onto her back, staring at the ceiling, her chest rising and falling rhythmically. Lauren straddled her hips, lacing her fingers with Camila's as she held her hands out for her, their hands between their bodies, Lauren's hair forming a curtain around them. In this moment Camila was the most beautiful piece of art Lauren had ever seen, and Lauren had seen Camila naked, which was a masterpiece within itself. Every curve, every dimple, every freckle that laced her caramel skin set her heart on fire, and ignited her bones.
