"Happy birthday baby," Camila whispered against the skin of Lauren's inner thigh. Lauren's chest was rising and falling aggressively, her body struggling to find enough oxygen to fill her lungs, her legs still twitching slightly as she came down from her high. This wasn't how Lauren had expected to spend her first half hour of her birthday, but she was by no means complaining.
"I love you," Lauren replied as Camila moved up her body, her elbow resting on either side of Lauren's body, her chin resting just above her breasts, the brown eyed girl pressed a soft kiss behind her collarbone.
"I love you too," She chimed, her voice vibrating through the crevice behind Lauren's collarbones.
"Do we have to go pick up my present at my house?" Lauren sighed, the thought of spending her whole day in bed with Camila was all too tempting, especially now that the younger girl had lit the fire inside of her this early. "Can't we just have someone drop it off here before we go to the beach tonight?"
"Nope," Camila smiled, popping the 'p'. "Your Mom wants to see your face when you open it," She added, covering the real reason why they were going to Lauren's house smoothly.
"Mhm, k," Lauren groaned, her fingers running up and down the dip in Camila's back. She never wanted this to end, but she had to accept that if she was going to move Seattle, it was going to, there would be no more laying in bed with Camila, no more kissing Camila, there would be no more physical, right there with Camila. And that was going to hurt like a bitch. "I'm gonna grab a shower, wanna join me?" Lauren suggested, raising an eyebrow at the brown eyed girl, who had shifted into a seated position on Lauren's hips, her gaze focused intently on Lauren.
"As much I would love to," Camila said, "If I do, we'll never get out of this apartment," She laughed, causing Lauren to pout, the green eyed girl running her fingertips down Camila's arms until she could lace their fingers together.
"How do you know that wasn't my plan all along?" Lauren teased, huffing when Camila climbed off of her, the white sheet wrapped around her body as she padded across the floor, grabbing some underwear from her drawers.
"Oh trust me, I know," Camila giggled as she dropped the sheet, changing quickly; There would be no show for Lauren this morning, right now, they were on a deadline. The show could wait til later.
Lauren shook her head, not moving from her seated position on the bed until Camila was halfway down the hall. Lauren didn't waste time in the shower this morning, she wanted to be near Camila, unsure whether it was because it was her birthday, or because she might be leaving her in just under two months. Camila was singing when Lauren made her way into the kitchen, wearing the dress she'd purchased in Texas. Camila dropped the frying pan onto the hob with a thud when she saw Lauren standing in the archway that led down the hall, her singing faded off quietly into something of a hum as she struggled to turn the hob off, huffing when she noted that her pancakes were most definitely not good quality this morning.
"I'm sorry about the pancakes..." Were the only words Camila could muster when she was staring at Lauren in that dress.
"Mhm, I have an idea on how you can make it up to me," Lauren smirked, crossing the room until she was standing in front of Camila, the green eyed girl turned her back to Camila. "Zip me up," She grinned, angling her head toward the ground as Camila swept her hair to one side, over her shoulders, her hands ghosting down the exposed skin of Lauren's back, causing her breath to hitch in her throat. Camila was breathing heavily, her gaze locked on the skin she longed to kiss, but would not, not yet. She was going to make Lauren wait all day for her. Her fingertips gripped at the zipper, hitching it up her back slowly, grabbing for her hair once more and replacing it to it's previous position. "Thanks baby," Lauren smiled, throwing her body forward until her hair was hanging in front of her face and her behind was pressed firmly against Camila's hips. Camila inhaled sharply, watching as the girl returned to a standing position, having flipped her hair back into it's imperfectly perfect place. "You okay?" The green eyed girl smirked, noting the way Camila's pupils had dilated, her chest rising and falling rhythmically.
