Lauren felt as though no time had passed since they got back to Miami, but once they were both back in school, and Camila had returned to work, the time began to fly. Lauren was becoming increasingly high profile in the art community, it turned out to have been Castor that had purchased "The Girl Behind the Sheets", Castor, she learned, was an extremely well established art blogger, and since her piece was featured on his blog, she'd gained quite a number of followers on her own social media, her YouTube channel had been deleted, the green eyed girl claiming she didn't have the time, but in reality she wasn't making the time, any free time she had she wanted to spend with Camila. Camila had been noticed around school by a few of the artistic kids, but she paid no heed, the only person she wanted to notice her was Lauren, and lately, Lauren had been distant, despite the green eyed girl trying her absolute best to see Camila at every possible opportunity, she was out of town most weekends now, networking with her new "art friends" and while Camila was over the moon with delight for her girlfriend, she still felt the jealousy that these strangers were getting more of her girlfriend's attention than she was in these early stages of their relationship. Camila had been spending an increasing amount of time at Lauren's house, hanging out with Chris and Taylor since Lauren became so invested in her art, but she was only human, she could only take so much of Chris and Normani making out before she had to excuse herself and call Lauren, who thankfully always picked up, regardless of how busy she was. School for Lauren had finished up a few days ago, and now she sat on the wall outside of Camila's school, her legs swinging back and forward as she waited for the brown eyed girl to make her way out of the building, the bell had rang no more than a minute ago, and Lauren had almost been knocked off the wall several times by obnoxious freshman. Camila wasn't expecting Lauren to be in town now that school was over, she had expected the green eyed girl to take off first chance she got, but perhaps she was being too hard on Lauren. Lauren loved her; she needed to remember that. Camila dropped her bookbag when she saw Lauren who was now leaning against the wall, her reflective aviator shades covering her striking eyes, her hair had grown longer, and wilder in the month since they'd been in Tallahassee, and Camila was reminded of how much she loved it each and every time she saw her girlfriend. In less than thirty seconds she was wrapped around Lauren, her lips peppering kisses over her cheeks in exalted glee.

"I've missed you so much!" Camila squealed, her arms tightening around Lauren's neck, making sure that Lauren was as close to her as physically possible. Lauren had been increasingly busy with her final exams this past week, and she'd spent the last weekend in Seattle, finding her footing in an even bigger fracture of the art world. They'd been apart for exactly nine days, and Camila had miserable for exactly nine of them.

"I missed you too beautiful," Lauren grinned, her smile falling on Camila's lips as she pressed a chaste, clumsy kiss to her lips, unable to kiss her properly as the smile refused to fade from her lips. Camila thought these were the best kisses, they were clumsy, but she thought nothing felt better against her skin than Lauren's smile.

"I've missed you too," Ariana shot in, appearing behind the couple with Camila's bookbag in her right hand, she smirked at Lauren, who was grinning back at her, "I was starting to get sick of Camila whining about her unquenchable sex drive," The girl laughed, handing the bookbag to Lauren, who draped it over her shoulder, her other arm wrapping around Camila's waist as the three girls walked away from the building.

One more year, Camila thought. One more year in this school and she could join Lauren at Miami U, they could see each other every day, maybe by that time they'd have their own apartment. It wasn't as if they hadn't talked about it. Because all they ever seemed to talk about when they were apart is what they would do when they could be together everyday.

"I'm sure she did plenty of whining about that," Lauren chuckled, pressing an affectionate kiss to the temple of her girlfriend's head as they walked.
