(told in perspective of Pandal):

Commander Alberta sat in a chair across me, tapping her foot, hand up against her forehead, rubbing intently, the silence continued to intensify.

"I am so sorry! I was just really curious, I know I wasn't supposed to go in there, you can punish me in whatever way you deem necessary."

"That the thing kid, I don't want to punish you, I want to hire you!" She smiled.

"Wha-what?" I stammered, shocked.

"We look for that type of courage in kids like you, in fact, if your not to busy, I'd invite you on one of the next missions."

"Really?!" I was shocked, I'd never been this much appreciated in Media headquarters. Then I looked at the red file and noticed she had tucked to her side, she was hiding something from me and was trying to cover it up from me, but I wasn't that stupid. I was about to say something when I heard a knock at the door.

"Kids got talent." Brutus walked into the room, smile on his face, which was unusual to his usual demeanor. He tossed me a package of gummy bears.

"Thanks," I still and always will love gummy bears.

"Fashionably late I see?" Alberta scolded Brutus.

"Sorry... uh, something... came up?" He managed to get out. He blushed and sat down next to me. "So kid, did she throw you into the furnace yet?" Brutus whispered.

"WAIT WHAT?! SHE DOES THAT?!" I yelled.

"I was just joking, geez kid, you've got to get out more." Brutus laughed and patted me on the back I started to relax and sit down and Brutus whispered, "Blink twice if you need help." I laughed and looked back at Alberta.

"So what do you think Mr. Armanda? Would you join our field team?" Alberta brought up again.

"I'd love to, but under one condition." I slyly said.

"Name it."

"You tell me what's in that folder." I crossed my arms and sat back in my chair, smiling. Alberta sighed and let out a painful, "FINNNNNNE." Her face grew nervous. And as Brutus saw the red file, his eyes widened, and I slightly wondered why. She slapped the file in front of me and I quickly opened it up. It read:

"December 22nd, 1979, Brutowski, Barnabas. Mission report: Three casualties, mission, non-successful, one survivor." I flipped through the file and found a picture of what looked like, no it couldn't be, it was impossible! I looked up at Brutus, then back down at the photo. Brutus started to tear up, "They were my family, and they died because of me." He continued to cry slightly and I felt so bad, I went over and gave him a hug.

"It's ok, it's ok." I looked off into the distance and thought about the only people I had ever called family, my team, the medias, and now, they were all gone.
