I walk back into my apartment at around 5:30 that afternoon and there is a letter on the floor.
I cock my head to one side and pick it up.

The front reads "Tris Prior" and on the back is the dauntless flames.

I open it slowly, confused on what it could be for. Letters didn't seem very dauntless.
I unfold it and flatten it out.

Dear Tris,

This letter is to inform you of your job time table.
As City Security Force, you work 4 days a week, 3 days off.
Usually the 4 days consist of 2 days training and 2 days working,
But since you are just starting, training will be 4 days a week
For 1 month.

After that time period, you will go into a regular schedule with
The rest of your coworkers.
The days you will be working are

Monday - training
Wednesday - training
Thursday - working (training for one month)
Sunday - working (training for one month)
Training will be in training room 2.

You start at 8:00am and end at 3:00pm on training days, and start at 6:00am and end at 1:00pm on working days.
More information will be given to you once you begin.

Sincerely,
Dauntless.

I leave my apartment and quickly lock the door.
I need to see what days he works.
1024.

I knock on his door then open it with out waiting for an answer.
I know he is home. I was with him like 5 minutes ago.

I walk in and he's sitting at the kitchen table reading his letter.

"Thought you'd be back soon." He says in a cocky tone.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I walk over to him and read over his shoulder.

"Why do you have to train 4 days a week?"

"Tris, I'm only just starting this job as well."

"Yes but you are like the legendary four! I didn't think they'd make you."

I continue down the letter to read the days he works.

"Monday - training
Wednesday - training
Thursday - working (training for one month)
Sunday - working (training for one month)"

I take my letter out of my pocket and reread the days I'm working.
"I'm confused? How did we get the same days?!"

"Don't sound so upset." I look him in the eyes and raise my eyebrows.

"I'm anything but upset, actually. I must just be really lucky."

"I am the legendary four, you know? I have connections."

"And what was your reasoning for wanting to do everything with me."

"Well, it was Eric I spoke to..."

"Oh great."

"I told him that you had separation anxiety and that you wouldn't perform to the best of your ability without me there. You know, clingy girlfriend things. They believed it."

I slap his arm.

"I am not clingy!"

"No but you definitely have anger problems." I shoot him a glare. "Besides it was just an excuse."

"I'm sure Eric was glad to hear we were together. After my trip to erudite and all."

"You wouldn't believe."

"We should probably head down to dinner?"

I move away from his chair so he can get out.

I walk out the door and wait for Tobias to lock the apartment before linking my hand with his. It's weird, I've only been dating him for like a week, but it feels like a lifetime. Well, no. I've never actually been on a date with him.
