As it grew to widespread notoriety, it grabbed rein of the tide of the earth's magic flow.

In short, the earth emits positive natural magical energy, however, the more popular the book became it altered the earth's magical flow. The result was a colossal burst of dark magic which plunged earth into ruin. Wars, increased crime, poverty, rising mortality rates, natural disasters and more transfigured earth into something it had never been before. Not since the days of Noah.

It brainwashed its readers, human and magical, into believing they were the protagonists of the story; henceforward turning them berserk and psychopathic. It fed into the deepest, darkest parts of the mind and sent its targets on varying paths of chaos.

I have read the book, but unlike its readers, I was aware of the dark magic inscribed in its pages. Preemptively, I nullified the dark magic and read on; unlike its predecessor, the book was far more lethal.

They oft target hopefuls but whenever they refuse, they would become hurtful and malicious. You've been quite vocal about your disdain for the book and firm in your adamance to never read the book. This book impetuses violence against non-conformists like yourself.
