"Tread lightly, boy. Death is a sharpshooter - reserved, cold and sudden - and rarely does she ever miss." - Lilith.

———————— 10 minutes later ———————

I parked my car a few feet from the bus stop because I don't want another ticket for obstructing public transportation. I spotted Daniel's hoodie and made my way toward him.

I called out to him once, but he didn't answer. I made out to get closer, but a violent breeze forced me to return to my car. I opened it and pulled out and put on my thick trench coat and returned to Daniel. I called out to him again ... but yet still he did not answer. Did Daniel really fall asleep at the bus stop of all the places? Really? Ugh.

I stood up in front of him and nudged his body a bit to signal him to wake up. I was not going to carry him to the car. Not again. Admittedly, he looked so precious with his head in his lap exposing the bunny ears of his hoodie. His arms gripped his knees but by the second they were slipping away.

"Daniel." I nudged him repeatedly - so much his body shook but he was still not responding. I knew he slept as though the world didn't exist from time to time. But there's no way he could've drifted into such a deep sleep in less than ten minutes.

The breeze picked up a bit as I placed my hand on his hood to pull it off and wake him up myself. I smiled at the thought of seeing his face after so long — I was excited. Daniel was an ugly sleeper but to me? He was the most precious thing ever. So, I removed his hood and pulled his head up .............

Daniel's Family Home
Present Day

James had finally made it to where Tempori was and called her out as he marched toward her, still in his pajamas.

"I found Daniel!" He beckoned unto his sister. Her eyes fill up with light at his words. Her soul flutters to life at his words. Like James, she took the mysterious disappearance of her little to heart.

Before Daniel disappeared or ran away (which is what they believed) both parties did and said hurtful things to him. Ever since he vanished without a trace, they've been blaming themselves for their part in it. To Tempori, there was no better news she could get.

"What?!" She screamed. "Jameson, do not toy with my emotions!" She said in a stern voice with eyes watering by the minute.

"Never would I joke about our brother." He smiled. "I found him, sister. I found our baby brother." She ran to him and jumped into his arms and squeezed him for dear life. She quickly ended the hug and a sense of rest came over her face. She quickly ran to the bathroom to get something and asked James to wait on her. He retreated to the couch and rested his head in relief on its back and smiled.

When she returned about ten minutes later, he was fast asleep on the couch in the living room. She smiled and covered him with a blanket and retreated to her room. Finally, after what felt like forever, both parties could finally sleep in peace. They found their brother.

———— ————-the next day ————————

James pushes the door open with the flick of his wrist and walks through the massive living room and into the kitchen where his sister and brother, Curacío were busy waiting on him.

"James!" He ran and hugged his brother on sight and James eagerly returns the affection.

"Hello to you too, Curacío." He is tired. He spends most of his time on mission with the new angelic recruits Shamus and Alexandria, showing them the ropes. He's been on quite a few missions with them but has yet to warm up to them. He doesn't trust them ... at all. He sits around the counter and watches while his siblings baked.
