"Mommy!" I heard my three year old son yell.

I ran upstairs and saw him with pictures scattered all around him.

I chuckled, "Oh, Alex, where'd you find that?"

"Daddy."

I rolled my eyes and poked him on the belly, "You're so silly!"

He imitated me and poked me on the nose, "You're so silly!"

I laughed as he giggled.

"Who's that?" Alex pointed his chubby finger to a picture of Cam and I in our hospital gowns.

"Uncle Cam!" I said.

"Uncle Cam told me his name is also Alex, like me!" He clapped.

"That's who we named you after." A voice said at the door. "Because he saved mommy."

"Daddy!" Alex jumped up and ran into his arms.

"There's my little muffin."

"Hey Shawn." I said kissing him.

Alex scrunched his cute nose."Ew!"

I smiled into the kiss.

"Daddy, do you love mommy?" Alex asked.

"Forever and always."
