One month later...

"Avvvvaaaa..."

"Ash, keep it down we're still in school!" I said.

"Sorry," She covered her mouth. "But guess what!"

"Whet?"

"Guess what's coming up?"

"Christmas!" I exclaimed. "It's in 3 weeks!"

"Well yeah, but guess what else is coming up."

"Nash's birthday?" I guessed.

"Yeah, but something else..."

"Okay. I give up, what is it?"

"THE HOLIDAY DANCE!" Ashley clapped happily.

"And?"

"What do you mean, and?" Ash said. "This is year is gonna be masquerade theme and Christmas themed!"

"So?"

"Aren't you excited?"

"Well, first of all I don't have a date and second what should I wear?"

"Did you forget that you have Shawn?"

"We're not even boyfriend and girlfriend what makes you think he'll ask me?"

"Nash asked me. The guys already have dates." She said. "Shawn's gonna ask you."

I shrugged.

"Hey it's in a week, we really need to get our dresses." Ash said.

"Wow, you take this very seriously." I said.

"You got a problem with that?"

"No, ma'am!" I saluted.

The bell rang.

"Lets go get our dresses!" Ash grabbed my arm.

In the past 2 hours, I managed to find this really pretty red dress. I'm surprised I found something.

Ash found a really nice dress that was sparky on top and plain at the bottom.

"Okay. Now we need shoes and a mask. We also have to book a spa and hair appointment. We need to get our nails done and-"

"Woah there fido, this isn't a wedding. This is a school dance," I said.

"True. Sleepover at my place on Friday?"

"Sure!" I agreed.

Five hours later, Ash and I got all our shopping done.

I bought a pair of ruby red flats and a rose gold mask.

I got home and put my clothes in the closet and uploaded a video I edited yesterday.

While waiting for it to upload, I decided to watch a how the grinch stole Christmas (Cartoon version).

That was when I heard a knock on my window.

I walked up to the window to see little pebbles hitting the glass. I saw shawn outside. He's been doing this the past few weeks. I shook my head and opened the window for him to climb up.

"It'd be a lot easier if you'd give me a hand." Shawn said as he climbed up the tree.

"It'd be a lot easier if you went through the front door." I replied giving him my hand and helping him up.

"Thanks." He smiled kissing my cheek and hugging me.

"Wait one second." he said pulling something up.

He grabbed the basket and went into my room to open it.

"I brought you freshly baked muffins!" he said.

I carefully looked at them. They had a letter stuck to each one.

W-I-L-L. The first four muffins said.

That's when I realized that it said, "Will you be my date to the dance?"

"Yes." I said hugging him.

"Okay. Lets eat the muffins now." Shawn said.

I laughed, "These are great Shawn!"

"Thanks, my grandma's recipe."

"They're really really good!"

"I'm glad you like them."

"Oh I love them."

"I can tell, you got crumbs all over." Shawn laughed.

I was about to wipe it off but shawn pinned down my hands.

"Ill get it." He said kissing me all over my face.

"You missed a spot." I said referring to my left cheek, but he ended up leaning in and kissing my lips.

"I was referring to my cheek, but thank you." I said wiping my cheek with a napkin.

"Oh sorry." Shawn blushed.

"Don't be sorry, I liked it." I said kissing him back.

Shawn put one hand on my back and pulled me in closer making the kiss deeper.

I enjoyed this a lot.
