Football? Really? Are you sure?

Today (outfit 33) we were at school. I feel like we're actually never at school. I wonder why that is? Anyways, it was lunchtime. Eddie was trying to ask Grace out and was failing, I mean after all she IS a cheerleader. It's ok Eddie you'll always have us. I told him patting his back, while Jerry was making fun of him. We took our places at our gangs table with the non editable food that the caf serves us to eat. Except for me since I've never eaten a school meal before in my life because I know how bad school lunches are. So I pack my own.

What's that smell? Kim asks us. I smell it too it smell like real food, but that could just be my lunch. I refuse to digest anything that the school makes. I could make you lunch too Jack if you wanted me to. In fact if you'd all allow me to I could make us all lunch everyday for school. You would do that? For us? Of course I would, after all I shrug we're all like one big happy family.

We don't want you to do that Farrah. You do too much already. It would be the least I could do. Actually no kid the least you could do is nothing and the worse you could do was act like she that shall not be named. But that smell could be the football players food. Look! In the far right corner there was a velvet rope where the football players and cheer girls were eating real food.

Well, I mean their quarterback just moved away and they're holding tryouts after school to fill his place tomorrow. What if Jack went to go try out?! I cheered. What?! Come on Jack aside from myself and Kim you're the most athletic one of our group. But, I mean as nice as that sounds kid, I just got you back into my life, we just got a turtle something mom can't hurt and rip away from us, that we plan on doing together and we have school and karate.... It's just not gonna happen. Sorry guys.

Besides they don't let just anyone tryout for the.... Hey coach Jack wants to tryout! Milton told him. Great see ya at tryouts Jack. Kim said she'd support him by being the cheer squad had Grace not kicked her off. After all there is no lie Kim loves being looked at and being front and center of everything. Jerry said he had more pep then she did and got the drum line to carry him off until he hit a wall.

At the dojo Milton was dressed like a coach and he made Jack dress like a football player even though he was just doing tryouts. I decided I would support my brother by doing exactly what Kim said she was gonna do, and tryout for the cheer squad. What are you wearing? A cheer uniform. Go Whales! Whoo! No, no, no. I mean what are you doing? Supporting you for trying out for cheer.

No way go take that off. Now! Fine. I went to my locker and changed.... Whoa not out here. It's fine I always where a tank top and shorts under my clothes encase of situations like this. Why did you switch outfits?  (outfit 34) Cause I can. Ok then. Then Rudy came out and started telling us some kind of football story. A story we didn't really want to listen to but we did anyways, but then Jack admitted that he couldn't throw a football.

And he was right. It was terrible. We have a lot of work to get done. Why are you wearing that again?! I shrugged. I can do it! You can?! Sure can. I can't hit bullseyes without a good aim in my throwing arm. Throwing arm? I have a dart board in my room with mom's picture on the front its the only bad thing I can do to "mom" without her hurting me. Since I can't make a voodoo doll.

Yeah, that might be a bit extreme. Meanwhile at Phil's Rudy was trying to give Eddie dating advice, and from what I understand it sounded like one of those go big or go home kind of deals. Poor Eddie I'm sure Rudy had no idea what he was going on about. And once Eddie left Phil came to sit down, now Rudy was teaching Phil how to be a sports fan, and about team spirit. I can see no way this can go right.

But Phil was getting the wrong idea. It's already going bad. At school they were having cheer tryouts about the same time as football tryouts. And since it was tryouts they had to see everyone, including Kim, Jerry and I. Jerry went first it was actually pretty impressive had he not flung his arms in the air with all that hair growing up under them. But even so Grace turned him away even though he'd done whatever he'd done perfectly. I don't understand why Eddie likes her, she's not very nice.

At the dojo there was a new problem Phil didn't know that crayfish was the mascot of our rival school and was dressed like one, this was gonna end bad on so many levels especially since we'd be playing them next week. And the other problem now was is that Phil also doesn't like whales. This is really not GOOD! Then over at the school....

Milton's coaching and Jack's throwing for prep for football practice wasn't going well at all. But once Milton coached him better and Jack was able to get it through the hole he was able to even pass the ball to someone all the way at the end of the field. Which both the coach and Milton were proud of. Yeah, go Jack! I cheered.

Farrah what are you doing here? Cheering for you. Yay support! Go team! They're doing cheer tryouts inside. And you're gonna try out? You're doing football tryouts. So? Why not? I shrugged. See ya later, I said kissing his cheek and double back hand springing all the way back inside perfectly. But when the Coach picked someone else Milton was angry so he kicked the football and it went all the way through the big yellow thing at 50 yards or whatever.

The funny thing is they didn't need a new kicker that's an episode error Milton was to be the kicker on Friday's game.... And the other funny thing is they still really don't have a quarterback still. Come 4 days later (outfit 35) we had popularity status and got to eat real food now that Milton was popular and Kim, Jerry and I got onto the cheer squad, Jack didn't have detention, life was good, which meant that something terrible was gonna happen.

I was right! We were loving all the new changes, except that Milton wasn't Milton anymore he was too busy for anything that wasn't football including us, including karate practice. And he's going by the "Foot" now. Eddie was gonna be in charge of the scoreboard for our next game since it was some idea he had to do exactly as Rudy said to get Grave to go out with him or whatever.

At Phil's things fan base wise went from bad to worse he had decorated his restaurant  crayfish themed and Rudy was dressed in whale sports wear. This was not good! While Rudy sang the school fight song with pride the Crayfish people attacked him at Phil's signal. Point Crayfish! At school the only way Grace let Jerry on the team was if he shaved his pits, they had him pinned down onto a table where Kim took those rip your hair right off your body strips and tried to get rid of his hair but to no avail it didn't even make a dent.

At the dojo when Milton's friends came by for whatever reason, Milton was disappointed in himself that he couldn't go with them but he had to study since he's one of those people who had never gotten anything lower than an A before in his life and got a B on a test his friends started freaking out about it since they were just like him in that category.

Now that Milton was popular he didn't recognize himself and wanted to go quit the team but everyone except Milton loved all the attention and all the perks of being on the team and everyone was counting on him. Meanwhile Eddie was learning the ropes so that he could impress Grace and ask her out from all the way up on the scoreboard for Friday's game.

And then on game day.... Rudy was dressed in team spirit wear, Kim, Jerry and I were in our cheer uniforms Milton was ready to lead the team to victory.... Kind of. Eddie was ready to ask Grace out, and Phil was sitting on the whale side dressed in his crayfish costume. At half time we made our way out to the field for our routine. And up Kim went, and up I went. With spotters behind us up on Jerry and some of the other team mates.

But Jerry was struggling, and made Kim fall as she chased him off the field. But I was fine, I started to fall since Jerry was next to me, and I was helping Kim up but I landed perfectly and got back up to keep going. Just like I've been doing my whole life, I get knocked down but I get back up. And it was about to get worse. For Eddie that is.

He asked the girl out from the scoreboard she smiled, but never said yes or no, and then he fell off sorta and in the process he didn't fall all the way he just gave himself a huge wedgie and to make things worse the guy that says what's going on during the game made everyone turn and look at Eddie and embarrass him in front of everyone. And he was in pain.

But because Eddie nearly got himself killed for this girl she said yes to going out with him, and before they sent Milton back out Jack came down to talk with Milton who looked uneasy he said every time he looked at the football he could see everything else he'd rather be doing, but he stayed on the team because of us because he decided Jack was right that this was the best thing to ever happen to our gang.

I mean look at your sister, I've never seen her so happy to fall down and get back up again. Not to mention she's terrified of heights, but it can't be anywhere close to anything bad that mom put her through for Farrah the dangerous stunts of the cheer team is like winning the lottery compared to what she's been through with mom.

I mean because of me Kim, Jerry and your sister made the cheer squad Eddie got a date with Grace.... And when was the last time you saw Rudy so happy? But Jack felt guilty since he did say those things, but Milton shouldn't have to keep playing because he had to if he didn't want to keep playing he shouldn't have to he didn't have to keep playing on our account. We're his friends and we'd always be his friends no matter if he's on the football team or not.

But as everyone cheered him on to do well all Jack really cared about was if Milton was happy, and that he was sure if Milton walked away we wouldn't be disappointed in him. I mean everyone else would but as long as Milton was happy that's kind of all that really mattered now. And there we all were cheering him on as he took his probably last kick of the team and won the game for our school.

After the game was over and everyone cleared out. Even if Milton was gonna quit I wasn't sure about Kim and Jerry but I was gonna stay on the squad as long as Grace and the girls would still have me. While our gang went to go celebrate and he blew off the team with their celebration, Rudy and Phil stayed to try and figure out what team they could cheer for together. Ultimately deciding on thanks to Eddie who was still hanging there to cheer for the Brooklyn Bears and then went to go get smoothies leaving poor Eddie still dangling there.
