Ghost Whisper- Bucky Barns X Reader

Together

"I am– inevitable."  Thanos snaps his fingers, but nothing happens except a metallic "clink."

He turns his hand to see the Infinity Stones are missing. Tony has the stones on his own gauntlet, the gamma radiation coursing through him, to Thanos' shock.

I stand up and run to Tony to put my hand on his shoulder right as he was talking. The power splits into me as well and I grunt in pain but I hold it in.

"I-"

"We are-" I say making Tony look up at me. Nat puts her hand on Tonys other shoulder making her grunt in pain.

Clint and Steve weren't to far off and joined in as Bruce and Thor were the last ones to connect with us. At this point it doesn't even hurt at all, it felt like a small bussed headache coming on but nothing else.

"We are The Avengers..." Tony says then he
snaps his fingers with a loud "CLANG" and a blinding flash of white.

Rocket fires at a Leviathan and before it devours him, it crumbles into ash.

The Black Order starts crumbling to ash.

T'Challa and Quill look around in surprise;

Steve looks on in exhaustion, knowing that we have won.

Thanos, in horror, looks around and sees his entire army disintegrate. He looks at us , as we  just stare at him proudly. Thanos sits down and mourns before slowly being erased from existence himself.

Tony immediately takes the gauntlet off and we all start to let go of each other slowly. Making sure that there was no side affects.

"That went better than I expected." I joked

This made the group turn towards me like they were seeing me for the first time ever.

"What?" I raise an eyebrow but before anything can be said Nat tackles me to the ground.

"You motherfucker!!! We thought you were dead! How can you do this to me!!? Im so mad at you!! But I don't want to let go." Nat screams in my ear making me wince.

"Ok ok! Im sorry!!!"

She pulls me up and then Clint pushes her to the side playfully before hugging me. When he dose the rest of the group joins in.

We pull apart, and I see everyone with tears in their eyes including Tony.

"Are you crying Tony?" I asked as he trys to play it off.

"No no I just got some dirt in my eye. Of course Im crying! How are you even alive? They told us you were dead!" Tony pulls me into another hug which I retuned gratefully.

I open my eyes to see everyone eles looking in our direction. My eyes go wide when I see Wanda. I softly push Tony away before running towards her. Her eyes were full of relief and tears when we meet with each other in the middle of the field.

"They said you were dead." She sniffles

"Hey, I can see dead people remember? I had some favors I could use. Besides I promised Ice cream and a movie didn't I?" I told her was we wiped both our tears out from our faces

"Im so lost but I want my free hug now!" Shuri yells at us making us laugh.

Steve had disappeared to who knows were to. But as I looked around I could see people reuniting with each other. There were smiles and plenty of tears. As I looked around my eyes  landed on Peter. I started to walk towards him leaving Wanda and Nat to be properly reunited together again.

"Peter!" I yelled making the boy turn around from his conversation with Val. He saw me and ran towards me, he came hurling into my embrace.

"Oh my gosh!! I missed you so much! I have so much to tell you! Like when we last talked and what had happened. I got beamed up into space and me and Mr.Stark saved a wizard with the plan from Aliens. You remember the one we watched last time?" Peter stared to ramble like always making me tear up and I held my hand to his face and my little cloud of sunshine and a small amount of rain formed over my head. Since my happiness was overwhelming.

"That is so cool...." Peter mumbles as we huged again.

"I see you meet my adopted son." Tony and Pepper walk up to us in their suit helmets down. Peter literally smiling so big when Tony called him his son.

Me and Peter looked at each other before laughing.

"I forgot to tell you Tones, but we been hanging out since after that whole fight thing in Germany." I told him as he looked at me in shock.

"Sorry Mr.Stark it just we got along so well. And she helped me with my parents and uncle Ben. Oh how's aunt May she must be soo worried." Peter rambled.

"Your Aunt should be back in the apartment now that everyone is back. Come on we should get you home. " Pepper said

"Oh ok. By G.W.!" Peter hugged me again before he followed Tony and Pepper. Before they left Tony yelled barbecue Saturday at the cabin. This made me chuckle as I walked towards Thor and Loki who were in a brotherly hug.

"We I can see that you two finally made up!" I said making them both pull apart with smiles

"Lady Barns!!! Thank You for bringing my brother back. Asgard as well as I will be forever in your debt. Ask anything at all and you shall receive!!" Thor hugs me making me laugh out loud.

"Brother please put lady Y/n down." Loki smiles at his brothers antics, then turn to me.
"And thank you my dear, you have given me another chance at this life. And I promise like I said, I will not try to stab my brother for any reason without probable cause." Loki holds up his hand to swear as I chuckle at him.

When I turn around again to walk away, a few feet from me is James B. Barns himself in the flesh standing next to Steve and Nat. He was staring at me in shock and happiness. I know I stood in shock  too because Loki gently pushed me towards Bucky making me sprint full on to him. I jump into his arms as I had wrapped myself around him.

He was still in shock I was there because he didn't hold me for a bit, not till I started to whisper to him.

"Its me... its me..."

"Im here..."

That was all it took for him to wrap his arms around me tight. We both sobbed into each other's shoulder, but I know for a fact Bucky didn't care. It was just more Proof that I was alive.... Breathing... in his arms again.... how its supposed to be.
