Its Time

It was months after I had that talk with Fury. I went to the compound more and more. I went to spend time with Wanda and Pietro. Of course with the others there it was a little difficult to have everyone communicate. Everyone wanted to know more about Peggy and Pietro, they tried to get to know more about Howard but he just wanted to spend his time with Tony. Who by the way still didn't believe me.

But it was getting to the point that Peggy felt ready. She told everything she wanted to Steve. Through me they where to know more about each more. She had let Steve know that the reason she couldn't move on was too let him know that she was happy, she wanted to see him happy too. She definitely gave him a pice of her mind to him about moving on.

On January 17 Peggy Carter finally crossed and went to the light. There where tears in all our faces well except Vision. Through Peggy me and Steve had gotten closer. He had let me know how he felt about Peggy leaving. I told him that it was ok to feel like that. It just makes us more human, let us know we can break but that we mend ourselves together with others help. He knew she was at peace.

With Peggy finally crossing, it got Pietro to start thinking.

"Yea right! You did not help B.B King cross!" Clint argued over breakfast one morning I was visiting.

"I say she did, Im mean common. If you die in your sleep and wake up wouldn't you be confused as to what happened?" Nat argues back for me.

Wanda, Nat, Steve and me laughed when Clint realized he was wrong. Pietro was quite, he only put on a small smile.

"Pietro whats wrong?" Wanda asked her brother. She had gotten better at reading my mind to see her brother that she sometimes forgets to disconnect from me.

"Nothing.... Actually can I talk to you for a minute?" He asks me.

"Sure." I shrugged my shoulders at Wanda. I didn't know what he wanted to talk about but for sure I would tell her. We left to talk in the living room. He walked up to the wall length widows and looked outside.

"Something wrong Pietro?" I ask as I walk up to him.

"Ive been thinking... it may be time... for me.." he says without looking at me.

Play music I see Fire

"Pietro? Do you mean...?" I look at him to see any hesitation.

"Yes... I... want to cross. I just don't know how to tell Wanda." He says with tears in his eyes.

"It will be ok... She'll understand." I tell him. A tear falls from my eye. He wipes it away.

"Don't... Don't cry princssa. I will miss you but Ill always be with you." He smiles at me.

"Let me guess in my heart?" I cry a little more.

"No ill be watching to make sure that no man come near my princssa. But when you do find the one. Make sure he takes care of you and makes you smile. He will be one lucky man to have you." He says. I laughed at him.

"I promise." I tell him wiping my tears off.

"Can you send her in?" He asks, I nod and walk away before looking back at him.

"Wanda? Pietro wants to talk to you in The living room." I tell her without looking at her for she wont see my tears. She looks at me confused and walks out of the kitchen.

"Y/n are you ok?" Steve asks as I sit down.

"Y/n what happened?" Nat says when she sees my tears. She rushes to come hold me.

"He wants to cross..." I sob out. No one says a thing till Wanda comes in to the kitchen with tears running down her face. I stand up and run towards her. We both hang on each other like if we let go one of us will disappear.

"Im sorry..." I sob

"No, Thank you... Thank you for giving me a chance to say my goodbye, to spend a little more time with him. Thank you..." she cries into my shoulder and hugs me tighter.

"Its time" Pietro comes in and puts his hands on our faces. Steve,Nat, Clint, Bruce, Vision and even Tony follow us outside where the sun is peaking out of the clouds, the grass is still a little wet from the melted snow.

We all take our turns saying goodbye to Pietro through me. Till Pietro gets to Wanda, she's trying to not to cry for Pietro.

"If I could go back in time and do something different, I would take you away from Hydra, give you all the candy you want. Never make you suffer again." Pietro holds Wanda face.

"And get all the fluffy pink teddy bears?" She tries to smile.

"All if them... just for you. Goodbye my little sister." He kisses her forehead one last time.
"Y/n.... Take care of her for me? Shes going to need someone to make her laugh, can't think of anyone else for the job?" He smiles at me and kisses my cheek.

"I will.."

"I see something... a light. Im scared.." he says as he looks behind me.

"Its ok, it just your next step..." I look up at him as he looks at me. He nods.
"He's going to cross over now..." I tell the others as he walks away from us.

"I'll always find away to watch over you Wanda, you'll always know I'm there that you'll be sick of me." Pietro says as he slowly walks away from us. Wanda comes to hug me as vision holds Wandas hand.

"I see them Wanda... I see Ma and Pa.... They are waving at me to come with them....They tell me to say they love you." Pietro smiles one last time at us before disappearing. Wanda smiling as she cry's.

"He's gone." I smile towards the others as the wipe their tears away.

"He's at peace..." Nat comes towards Wanda and hugs her. Everyone hugs Wanda then returns inside, it only left me and Wanda outside looking at the view.

"I can feel him..." she whispers to me as she closes her eyes and soaks up the sun rays.

We stand there together.
