Tony was put on a bed to rest, with Pepper at his side. The others stand on the outside of the room and watching through the glass window as Bruce talks to Pepper, and checks on Tony.
"Bruce gave him a sedative. He's gonna probably be out for the rest of the day." Rhodey tells them.
"You guys take care of him. And I'll bring him a Xorrian Elixir when I come back." Carol sarcastically says as she walks off.
"Where are you going?" Steve and Natasha share a look before walking after her. They follow her into one of the many room offices. Standing at the window looking out is Y/n, where she went to cool off.
"To kill Thanos." Carol stops and turns to the broken group. This made Y/n perk up.
"Then I'm coming too." Y/n walks next to Carol who nods at her in acceptance.
"Hey, you know, we usually work as a team here, and between you and I, morale's a little fragile." Nat stares both of the woman down.
"We realize up there is more your territory, but this is our fight too." Steve tells Carol before looking at Y/n in concern.
"Steve don't start. You won't change my mind." Y/n shuts him down since she knew that look.
"You even know where he is?" Rhodes ask
"I know people who might." Carol shrugs before a voice interrupted.
" Don't bother. I can tell you where Thanos is." Nebula stood against a doorframe.
"Thanos spent a long time trying to perfect me. And when he worked, he talked about his great plan. Even disassembled, I wanted to please him. I'd ask "where would we go once his plan was complete?". His answer was always the same: "To the Garden.""
"That's cute, Thanos has a retirement plan." Rhodes joked
"So where is he?" Steve ignored the comment and looked to Nebula.
"When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became ground zero for a power surge of ridiculously cosmic proportions. No one's ever seen anything like it... Until two days ago." Rocket pulls up a hologram of a planet pops up, with a shockwave visibly traversing the surface. "On this planet."
"Thanos is there." Nebula confirms
"He used the stones again." Nat was standing next to Steve, when she spoke Steve looked down at her in worry. He didn't want to lose anyone else.
"Hey, hey, hey. We'd be going in short-handed, you know." Bruce try's to reason
"Look, he's still got the stones, so..." Rhodey starts
"So let's get him... Use them to bring everyone back." Carol steps up, Y/n was staring at the hologram of the planet. Hearing that they could bring them back gave her hope.
"Just like that?" Rhodes questions
"Yeah, just like that. This son of a bitch got what's coming to him." Y/n spoke up. Her and Carol share a knowing look.
"Even if there's a small chance that we can undo this... I mean we owe it to everyone who's not in this room to try." Nat spoke as she grabbed Steve hand and squeezed it trying to convince him. Steve looked at the people in the room, for once in the last 20 something days they had hope in their eyes.
" If we do this, how do we know it's gonna end any differently than it did before?" Bruce cuts in.
"Because before, you didn't have me." Carol looked at Steve
"Hey, new girl, everyone here is about that superhero life. And if you don't mind my asking, where the hell have you been all this time?" Rhodey questions her making Carol frown at him.
