Peter walks down the hallway of his apartment wearing pink Hello Kitty pajamas and an oversized NYC tourist T-shirt. Tony had just taken away his suit, its was a pretty good bet Peter felt discouraged. He knocks on a door, which May answers.

"Hey." Peter whispers as he looks down in shame.

May inhales deeply and storms inside, with Peter following.

"I've been calling you all day. You didn't answer your phone. You can't do that. Then this ferry thing happens. I've called five police stations." May starts to ramble as she point to the t.v which was showing the new coverage of the broken ferry.

Peter walks to May and stands behind her.

"Five. I called five of your friends."

"I'm fine." He whispers again.

"I called Ned's mother. I even called Y/n, but no one answered just went to her voicemail." Peter flinched at that as he knows what happened to you.

"May, I'm okay. Honestly. Just relax. I'm fine."

May stands and faces Peter.

"You. Cut the bullshit. I know you left detention. I know you left the hotel room in Washington. I know you sneak out of this house every night. That's not fine. Peter, you have to tell me what's going on. Just lay it out. It's just me and you."

A beat, then Peter's eyes fill up with tears.

"I lost the Stark internship." He sobs

"What?"

"Yeah."

"What happened?"

"I just thought that I could work really hard and he could, he would, you know. But I screwed it up."

Peter sits down on the sofa next to him. May hugs him and strokes him to help calm him down.

"Oh... It's okay, it's okay. It's okay."

"I'm sorry I made you worry."

"You know I'm not trying to ruin your life."

"Yeah, I know."

"Just... I used to sneak out too." She says as she looks at Peters deflated face.

"Yeah."

May scowls, then leans in to sniff Peter's hair.

"And take a shower. You smell. You smell like garbage."

"I know." He gets up and head to his room, before sitting down on the floor he picks up his phone and opens it to the messages. He clicks onto a contact named G.W.

When he opens it he sees the last text you sent him.

- don't sweat it! I know you will make NY a better place.
- forget NY! The World! Ttyl peter-man!❤️

He sobs out loud as he reads it over again. He had texted you about his doubts of being spider man two months ago before you got kidnapped by Hydra. He had actually texted you the day before you were taken, and he only found out two weeks later by calling your phone and Bucky answered.

"Im sorry... I can't ..." he sobs as he thinks back to every thing thats has happened.

"Hello! Hello! Please. Hey, hey, please. I'm down here. I'm down here. I'm stuck. I'm stuck. I can't move. I can't..." Peter yells as he carries the heavy fallen building on him as he cry's out for help.

Peter takes a moment to catch his breath and looks down at his reflection on a puddle. The Spider-Man mask in the puddle covers half the reflection, making it look as if Peter is wearing the Spider-Man mask on half his face.

If you're nothing without this suit, then you shouldn't have it.

You are Peter-man, and you are one smart 15 year old. I know your going to do great things.

Forget NY! The World! Ttyl peter-man

Once again, Peter tries to push the debris off his back.

"Come on, Peter. Come on, Spider-Man. Come on, Spider-Man. Come on, Spider-Man. Come on, Spider-Man!"

Peter finally frees himself from the debris and gets up amongst rubbles. He spots Vulture perching on top of a stripped billboard.

"Thank you, Mr. Stark. But I'm good." Peter says as he stand in front of Tony and Happy in the new Avengers compound.

"You're good? Good? How are you good?" Tony raises an eyebrow.

"Well, I mean, I'm... I'd rather just stay on the ground for a little while. Friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Somebody's got to look out for the little guy, right?" Peter smiles as he thinks of you.

Tony takes off his sunglasses and stares into Peter's eyes.

"You turning me down? You better think about this." (pointing at the new Spider-Man suit) "Look at that. Look at me. Last chance, yes or no?"

" No."

"Okay. It's kind of a Springsteen-y, working class hero vibe that I dig. Uh, Happy will take you home. Yeah?"

"Yeah." (to Peter) "Mind waiting in the car? I need a minute."

"Thank you, Mr. Stark."

"Yes, Mr. Parker. Very well."

Tony and Peter shake hands.

"See you around."

"Okay."

Peter starts to leave with a spring in his step, but then slows to a stop and turns to Tony, who is putting the Iron Spider Armor away with a tap on his watch.

"That was a test, right? There's, uh, nobody back there?"

"Yes, you passed. All right, skedaddle there, young buck." Tony shooed him away with his hand.

"Thank you, Mr. Stark. Thank you."

"Yeah, thank you."

As Peter walks away, his phone vibrates with an incoming call. When he takes a look at it he sees the name G.W  on screen. He answers right away.

"Hello?" He tentatively asks.

"Peter?" A woman's voice sounded out. Making him close his eyes in relief as he hears your voice in months.

"Your Alive!" Peter sobs as he takes a look around him to make sure no is listening.

"Yea... but you won't for long. What Where You Thinking!? I get taken for almost three months and in that time you've gotten yourself and your school in some kind of danger? Are you alright?!" Your voice screamed out, but Peter only heard the love in your voice. You were checking in on him as if you hadn't gotten taken by an evil organization.

"I love you too sis." Peter interrupted your talk to him. He heard silence as he listened to see what your reaction would be.

"Dam it Pete..." (sighs with a small chuckle)
"Love you too little brother"

"I'll have to go Hap's coming but I'll call you later. Ok? I want to know how you are." He hurriedly rushed out as Happy was walking towards him.

"I'm counting on it peter-man. Over and out." You hung up.  Peter looked down at his phone with a big smile before walking with Happy to the car.
