In the beginning it was hard for Elaine to get over Luke. She missed him a lot. It was hard and it hurt, but she realized that while her world stopped, everyone else's carried on.
And it eventually got easier.
Elaine and Ashton finished high school with no problems, for, they had each other.
Ashton proposed to Elaine the night of their graduation. People said they were too young, but they somehow made it through.
It was Ashton and Elaine against the world.
Ashton went on to pursue his career as a drummer in a band that soon became well known around the world, while Elaine became a psychologist in hopes of helping teenagers going through the same difficulties that she went through at their age.
Elaine and Ashton traveled all around the world and eventually decided to buy a house together in Australia so they could be near Ashton's family. Soon enough, the two of them started a family of their own. Ashton will never forget the night that his stunning wife gave birth to his first-born; a beautiful, healthy baby girl.
Luke watched over Elaine for the rest of her life.
From the late-night fights with Ashton,
to when their curly-haired daughter got her first boyfriend,
Luke even watched as Ashton taught his and Elaine's son how to play the drums.
Luke was also there when Elaine got terribly sick.
He was watching as her little, yet very loving, family cuddled up together on her bed because she was too weak to get up.
Luke was also there when Elaine passed away one cold, winter night.
And Luke can tell you- it was definitely worth waiting all those years for her.
