Nightly Stroll

Africa-Toto

Andrea POV

"She did what?!" I quickly woke up. Hearing Rick yelling for no reason. I looked around and saw I was lying on the carpet to the RV. I lightly stretched and got up, heading outside. "Why did you let her go by herself?"

"She wanted to. Nothin I could do bout it." Daryl replies. I soon realized they were talking about Y/n and how she left last night. The sun was up now.

"Well, you shouldn't have let her gone. Now we have two missing people." I slowly walk up to Dale, who was in the conversation.

"I told you." He mumble towards me. I rolled my eyes at him. "Rick, she wanted to go for a reason. And she even said to not worry about her. Honest." Dale explains. Daryl nods with him.

"It's true." Daryl confirms. I join in on the conversation.

"She told us to tell you "sorry." Looks like she was right." Rick gives me a look, before sighing.

"If that's what she wants...then fine." Rick answers, defeated. We all nodded before walking away. I walked over to Glenn, who had heard about Y/n leaving.

"Hey? You okay?" I asked. Glenn nodded before sighing.

"Why did she leave. She could have at least said good bye." I chuckle at his words. Wow. It's like she predicted this whole thing.

"She wanted me to tell you that she says she gonna be okay."

"And how would you know that?" Glenn scoffs and crosses his arm. I put my hand on his shoulder.

"She said she pinky swears." Glenn eyes widen, before he starting chuckling.

"Of course she did." I don't know what that means, but at least it helped. Me and Glenn walked back over to the group. I watch as Rick puts down a rolled bag. He unrolls it, revealing knifes and hatchets.

"Everybody takes a weapon." Rick shouts to us all. Carol begins to look all over in confusion.

"Where's Y/n?" She asked.

"She went out last night, looking for yer little girl." Daryl replies.

"Oh." I see Carol put her head down in shame. I don't blame her. Y/n felt bad for not bringing Sophia back. I look back at the weapons on our "table."

"These aren't the kind of weapons we need. What about the guns" I asked, irritated. I watch everyone start to grab a knife or hatchet.

"We've been over that. Daryl, Rick and I are carrying. Possibly Y/n too, if she returns. We can't have people popping off rounds every time a tree rustles." Shane replies.

"It's the tress I'm worried about. And besides, how come Y/n gets one and I don't."

"Say somebody fires at the wrong moment, a herd happens to be passing by. See, then it's game over for all of us. And Y/n knows how to use a gun better than you. So you need to get over it." I scoff at Shane and look at my so called "weapons." Sigh. I kinda wish Y/n was here.

"The idea is to take here creek up about five miles, turn around and come back down the other side. Chances are she'll be by the creek. If we're lucky, maybe Y/n found her already." Daryl added.

"Stay quiet and stay sharp. Keep space between you, but always by within each other's sight. Can't lose anymore people." Rick states. Shane walks up behind him and speaks up. I roll my eyes.
