Yinhwa's POV

I stood near the edge of the road, taking in the picturesque view of the Caiyi City river.

We had arrived just a few days ago, and our stay extended for another week before we would attend the lectures at Gusu Lan Clan.

'Damn! I don't even know anyone's name other than the people from my clan. Will I be able to survive? Are there any girls even attending? Fuck!! Why should I go in place of Qingqiu?!!'

Suddenly, a shout broke my thoughts, "Shijie, look out!" Before I could react, I found myself thrust into the water. Panic seized me as I realized, 'I can't fucking swim.'

Gasping for air, the river's cold embrace weighed me down. My vision blurred as water invaded my lungs.

I stifled a chuckle. 'Mingyuan, always so very, overly protective.' I elbowed him gently to silence him.

"Apologies, it was truly an accident," the lady spoke, her anxiety clear.

"No, it's quite evident it was an accident." I interjected, trying to calm the situation. "My Lady, here are some dry clothes..." One of my maids arrived with a cloak and a towel.

"But, My Lady--" Mingyuan began again covering me up with the cloak, but I cut him off. "It's alright, Mingyuan. I'm fine."

"Now then

"Now then..." I turned toward the lady who had pushed me into the river. "May I inquire about your identity?" I asked, my tone a frosty, causing her to shudder in fear.

'Am I really that intimidating?'

"We're from Yunmeng Jiang Clan. I'm Jiang Yanli, and these two are my brothers, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng," The lady introduced herself, bowing respectfully.
