"Yinhwa, we got a letter," Said Qingqiu. I looked up from patting my nephew Chang Lou to sleep. "Who is it from?" I asked.
"It's from Madam Yu Ziyuan. She has invited us to lunch," He said. I smirked. "Shall we go, then?" I asked, and he nodded.
A few days later...
We got ready and traveled to Yunmeng, setting off immediately for our lunch with Madam Yu Ziyuan.

As soon as we entered Yunmeng, we received a warm welcome from Madam Yu Ziyuan. We disembarked from the boat and approached her.
"Madam Yu," We both said in unison as we interlocked our hands and bowed in respect.
"Thank you for inviting us, Madam Yu," Qingqiu expressed his gratitude, and she nodded, her gaze shifting to me.
"You beat your mother, in comparison to beauty," she remarked, brushing a strand of my hair to get a better look at my face. I couldn't help but smile at the compliment.
"Have you had lunch?" Yu Ziyuan asked, and we shook our heads. "Good, then. Come, let's continue our conversation over a meal," She suggested, and we gladly followed her.
"Where is Mother?" I overheard Jiang Cheng ask as we entered the scene. Clan Leader Jiang remained seated, seemingly unaware of our presence.
"Your mother is just a bit tired. Let's eat first," He replied. "Stay here," Madam Yu said and left the room.
"Who said I was tired?" She questioned as she walked back to her family, where they all stood up in her presence, except for Clan Leader Jiang.
"Mother," Jiang Cheng greeted her with a bow, and she elegantly brushed away an invisible speck of dust from his clothes before addressing Clan Leader Jiang.
"I've invited some guests to join us for lunch," She informed him, and he appeared surprised. "Why didn't you inform me earlier?" He asked and we sweatdropped.
"Brother, I'm already having second thoughts about coming here," I spoke nervously. "Yeah, I've been feeling the same way," He agreed, and we shared a light chuckle.
"This is my house, and I can do as I please. Come out!" Yu Ziyuan exclaimed, and we took it as our cue to approach, joining her side.
"Hi...." I offered a friendly wave to the Yunmeng Trio, and they responded with smiles.
"Clan Leader, please accept our apologies for interrupting your mealtime." Qingqiu expressed as we both bowed respectfully.
Clan Leader Jiang waved his hand dismissively. "No need to worry, Young Master Chang. The more, the merrier." he replied, and we straightened up.
