Chapter 16: Anger

She was restrained. She couldn't move an inch of her body and she's been detained back to the place she just run away to. This is the last place she wanted to be back in. But this isn't the normal place they would put someone else in. Ramdam niya ang kakaibang pakiramdam na pumapalibot sa paligid. She's not in her room. She couldn't recall the surroundings—she's not very familiar with it. It's very off and weird, she thought, but she couldn't think clearly dahil ang tanging bagay lamang na pumapasok sa kanyang utak ay ang makatakas sa lugar na 'to.

If she can do it for the first time, maybe it'll be easy for her to do it the second time. Alam na niya kung anong gagawin, mas mapadadali na sa kanya ang lahat. She just needs to get off herself away from being strapped off.

Pero napagod lamang si Therrie. She couldn't even move her head left and right, even move it up or down. There's a thick strap on her head preventing from moving. Not even a budge. Lahat ng katawan niya na pwedeng igalaw ay hindi niya magawang igalaw.

Total out of control siya sa kanyang sitwasyon ngayon. It felt like she was restricted to do anything. Sinadya nga ba ito?

Napabitaw na lamang ito nang malalim na hininga at saka unti-unting binawi ang lakas—but that's not enough. She knows that to herself. She cannot be healed just by not moving. Kahit hindi gumalaw, mas lalong nanghihina si Therrie. It even cost her a lot of strength.

Ayoko na... usal niya sa kanyang isip. Unti-unting bumitaw ang katawan niya na para bang wala siyang magagawa pa. Even if she wanted to get out of this place, she cannot do a thing about it.

Madilim ang ilang parte ng paligid. She couldn't even open her mouth dahil may tela ring nakatakip dito dahilan upang hindi ito makagawa ng ingay. This is worse, she thought. Kung ano man ang gagawin nila sa kanya ngayon, this is not what she's expecting, but because of the recent incident that happened, the health facility incurred much more restrictions when it comes to their patients—especially to Therrie.

She's tired, weak, and hungry. Bullet of tears escaping her eyes. All the emotional and physical attributes she could feel, she felt it everything. Therrie tried not to pity herself because that won't help her get out of this situation. The only thing she can do to get out of this place is get off of this strap which she wasn't able to get off. Napaka-easy kung gawin pero napakalaking problema para sa kanya.

The only thing she remembered, there was an accident and woke up seeing Doctor Carmona and all that comes right after is blank. Wala. Hindi na niya maalala. She doesn't know what to feel or think, she's just lost—not literally, but emotionally and mentally. Kahit walang ginagawa, feeling niya ang utak niya ay sasabog na sa kung ano-anong pinag-iisip nito.

All she ever wanted was to have a normal life, but knowing the fact she won't have it until she figured out the real problem inside her, hindi niya magagawang magkaroon ng normal na buhay. It's out of her reach. Out of something she could do today. Ang problema kasi, she's the problem of herself. Her battle is within and anything she could do is beyond uncontrollably.

She fell in silence, as if there were a lot of things she could do, but lay down on strapped.

It was quiet, she couldn't even hear if there are people outside of this room or if there was someone inside the room. She couldn't figure it out. Tanging malalamin na paghinga lamang niya ang naririnig niya. She's somehow lost in her thoughts, her body's so tired, and just wanna rest it, but not sure if she'll be able to regain her strength after all of this.

Tumitiklop na ang talukap ng mga mata ni Therrie nang makarinig siya ng kalaskas mula sa mga metal. Hindi niya alam kung saan nanggagaling iyon pero ang sumunod sa mga ingay na 'yon ang ilang boses na umalingawngaw kaagad sa buong paligid.
