"So, how are you doing these days, Therrie?" Doctor Althea Carmona asked her. She's sitting across her, with a pen and a notebook in her hand, sitting up straight and having her legs crossed. She's very intimidating that's why Therrie hardly looks at her.

Para ba kasing kaunting tingin lang, makikilala na siya nito, but that's the reason why she was doing this. She needs to know herself, but then she's afraid to know who she really is because, after every session she had with Doctor Carmona, it's like she entered a whole new world. She doesn't look so strict, but very formal and professional when it comes to dealing with her condition—and others who are inside the facility.

But until now, they're still figuring her problem out.

"I'm good..." tipid nitong sagot. Hindi pa rin nito tiningnan ang doctor and so she took a note of that to her notebook.

"But... but what, Therrie?" She rose her brow. She knows there's something more than just being good. Kailangan niyang pigain si Therrie. This is her job... to seek and counsel her patients.

She sighed. "But not feeling better."

"I understand that, but also, I've heard that your boyfriend visited you yesterday. How does that make you feel?"

She took a deep breath and shook her head. "Wala... I lost that kind of feel to be excited. Ni wala nga akong reaksyon no'ng makita ko siya after not being away for a few weeks. Wala akong naramdam, but I've missed him so much."

"I think that's still a good sign," pagpunto ni Doctor Carmona. "So, you lost your senses to make yourself feel excited, yesterday? Am I right?" she asked while writing on her notebook. "So, who are you right now? What did you lose today?"

Therrie shrugged off. "Hindi ko alam... hindi pa ba tayo tapos?"

Napangisi at napailing si Doctor Carmona. Napataas namana ng kilay ni Therrie dahil hindi niya na-gets kung bakit gano'n 'yong reaksyon niya.

"Hindi naman 'yon nakatatawa, a?"

"I know." Ngisi pa nito. "And I'm sorry for laughing at you like that, but I guess I already figure out what emotion you may have lost today."

"Ano naman 'yon?" matabang nitong tanong pero tila ba wala siyang pakialam base sa tono nito. She's just trying to make a conversation so she would stop asking.

"You just lost your patience, Therrie."

Nanliit ang mata ni Therrie. "How would you know that, huh?" Therrie then slowly realizes what's going on and how she's been acting towards her doctor. She rested her back on the chair and heaved out a deep sigh. "I see... I get it now."

Doctor Carmona nodded. "You know what, Therrie? I thought you might be going through something called a split disorder or multiple personality disorder, but I think your case is different from the others. Different from what I've handled already."

Napangisi naman si Therrie. "I know I'm different that's why we're talking. Kung hindi ako naiiba, I wouldn't have to stay here for six months. And guess what, we wouldn't be talking if my condition was just like others. I could've just googled it. The easy way, duh?"

"But just because we're talking it doesn't mean it's bad," Doctor Carmona corrected. "This is something we have to deal closely with each other. I know you're not comfortable with it, but it's the only way to know what's going on. Do you still want to continue our session every week, Therrie?"
