Therrie's Thirty Days of Temperamental Cycle

Epilogue

"Okay, everyone. Now that we've seen how Therrie acted repeatedly for the last twelve cycles, let's not do the same mistake again. We've learned and we know now how to change the outcome because if Therrie keeps doing the same thing all over again, we need to move on with our subject 14."

"Don't worry, I'm already on it," Arkin said, raising his hand. "I already have all the information with our next subject if subject 013 failed. I think... the next one would be interesting..."

"I'm curious," Doctor Benji said. "Could we have a clue about our next subject? We've been taking a lot of time and energy to our current subject. I think it's time that we needed to move on."

"Nope," hindi pagsang-ayon ni Bianca, ang kanilang boss. "We're not moving on. Nakikita naman natin kung gaano ka-promising itong si Therrie. We're the ones who are failing. Therrie is unique and her capability to transform during the test, we cannot stop her, but we can always stop her. We're one step ahead now. Let's not get her Doctor Carmona arrested again."

Sa tingin ng iba, they're just wasting their time with Therrie. Her repeated cycles won't go anywhere. She could might be a reason in the future kung bakit hindi magiging successful ang project nila. Therrie would do everything she can, but that's not what others have thought about.

Naiwan si Bianca, Doc Yzma at Doc Benji sa opisina nito. Kumuha ng baso si Bianca at sinalinan niya ito ng alak. It doesn't contain too much alcohol, but enough to make her feel numb at some point. Inalok pa nito ang doctor kung gusto ba nito ng alak, but the doctor declined the offer at umupo na lamang sa kaninang kinauupuan nito.

"I think I needed that," Doc Yzma said. Kumuha rin siya ng baso at si Bianca ang nagsalin ng alak sa baso niya. Ininom naman niya agad ito ng isang tunggaan lamang. She shook her body, feeling weird about it. "Oooh. Hindi talaga ako umiinom ng alak, but I guess today's okay to do that..."

"You know why I said we cannot move on from Therrie?" tanong nito sa dalawang doctor. Napakibit balikat naman ang dalawa. Walang ideya sa kung anong iniisip ng boss nila. "Just like what we are doing to our previous subjects, some died during the test, while we needed to let go of some people and brainwashed them. But we cannot let Therrie die and let her go... if we made it, this could be a big success for us. It's not just that it's someone who kept fighting off the test, it's someone who has a unique personality... she's one of a kind and we'll have a hard time looking for someone like her again so we'll do everything we can, right?"

Sumang-ayon at tumango na lamang ang doctor sa sinabi ng amo nila.

Bianca started out this project thinking that it could help the future of science by reinventing new things that could help human beings. She thought it will so starting out as an insurance company as a façade of her intention, Bianca recruited people who can help her start her own project. It's been five years and Therrie was the only one who shows too much impression of changing everything.

"Okay, let's go! Let's start the thirteenth cycle!" Doctor Yzma announced.

Naunang lumabas ang mga doctor. Nagpaiwan saglit si Bianca sa loob ng opisina niya at iniisip na lamang niya habang papalabas siya ng office ay magiging successful ang susunod na cycle na ito.

Iyon lamang ang gusto niyang mangyari. Wala siyang ibang hinangad kung hindi magkaroon ng panibagong pag-asa ang kung sino mang taong dumadaan sa kani-kanilang mga problema. She knows that with her project, she could help a lot of people and Therrie would be proud of herself for being part of this project.

At this moment, she's looking forward that the result of a new cycle that would change everything.

Taas noo itong naglalakad patungo sa elevator upang puntahan ang floor kung nasaan ang test room. Bawat nakasasalubong pa niyang empleyado ay matatamis na ngiti ang inaabot nito. Her employees were so fortunate for having her as their boss, and she couldn't say the same thing, but only be grateful.

As soon as she reached the floor where the test is going to happen, Bianca stood behind the window glass which she watched Therrie on the crank bed where the doctors and their assistant do what they needed to do. All the things she hopes for and all the bad things that had happened back then could result in a good situation if this turned out a big success. Her life would be better.

When she heard the doctor's signal that Therrie would undergo another cycle, Bianca took a deep breath. She wants this. She wants it to have a better future.

"3... 2... 1..."

"Welcome to your thirteenth cycle, Therrie..." she muttered between her breaths.

"Ano bang ginagawa mo rito, Therrie? Are we gonna be naughty?" Hagikgik pa ni Bianca.

Mahinang hinampas ni Therrie si Bianca at bahagyang natawa. "Hindi 'no. Hindi tayo magiging naughty, Bianca... can you keep a secret, Bi?"

Bianca chuckled, nodding her head. "Oo naman..."

It's time for Therrie to do her own thing... and that's to find her true self out in the world. And that would be the only possible way for her to discover the truth about her condition... or may never be. Because in the end, it's always gonna be a thirty days crazy cycle.
