"Still nothing on Snart?" I asked Cisco as he typed away at his computer

"Nothing. Police suped-up security around the diamond, he'd be stupid to go after it again."

I sighed, leaning against the console, "Joe did say Snart was like a dog with a bone. When he sets his eyes on something there's no stopping him. He's bound to try again."

Cisco looked up from the screen, "You talk to Barry yet?"

"Nope," I said popping the 'p', "but I'm sure he'll come around eventually. Always does."

"Woah, I got something!" he exclaimed from his seat

I rounded his chair to stand behind him, "What is it?"

"I started running the list of Snart aliases Joe gave me through building records and I got a hit on a warehouse on the outskirts of town. Could be Snart's base of operations."

"That's a solid drive. Do me a favor and don't call Barry in until I'm already there."

"Promise you won't run in without backup?"

"Do I look like Barry to you?" I said simply before running to get changed.

"Took you long enough." I addressed the gust of wind that sped up next to me

Barry didn't pause his stride to talk, "I take it you told Cisco not to call me?"

I followed him in, "You're here aren't you?"

"Let's just get this over with." he huffed and walked ahead into the building

I laughed humorlessly to myself as I followed, "Yep, this is gonna be a fun time." I mused as I went, "Listen, man." I started, keeping my voice down in case Snart could hear, "We both said things, and while I won't apologize for my part in that, there's no reason we can't get past it. We're still a team."

"Are we?" he turned on his heel angrily, "Because from where I'm standing we are anything but a team. Teams don't lie to each other or pretend things are alright until they blow up. They don't build a failsafe to take the other out." He turned back to the warehouse, "And I meant every word I said. We're not a team, we're just people who got stuck working together."

"That's a little harsh man." A third voice responded before I could. We turned to find Snart standing on the landing above us, cold gun slung over his shoulder. "Personally, I think you two work great together," he smirked down at us

"Look, Snart," Barry began, taking a cautious step forward, "We're giving you the chance to turn yourself in."

Snart snorted, actually snorted, in response, cocking his head to the side to give me a look, "Is he for real?"

I pinched the bridge of my nose between my fingers and sighed, "Sadly, yeah he is." Barry shot me a glare for that, "Listen, Leonard, can I call you Leonard? We don't want to see anyone else get hurt, so if you could kindly toss the gun aside and come with us, that would be awesome."

"Yeah," he sucked in a breath, "No, I'm having way too much fun with this." he pointed the weapon at Barry and fired. Without having to think about it I jumped in front of him, sweeping my cape upward to block the both of us from the blast. In hindsight, Barry could've run us out of the way, but I wasn't gonna place my bets on that until I knew he was back at one hundred percent after our last Snart encounter. The blast pushed me backward into Barry who put his hands out to steady me before lunging for Snart.
