No One's POV

A hooded figure sat perched on the edge of the roof of a tall building overlooking the city. This city was much unlike his own. The streets were calm and absent was the near-constant wail of sirens in the distance, and yet, he was still on edge. This was a recon mission, gather as much information on his target as he could before returning to Starling. He didn't know his target, nor how they would handle his appearance in their city.

"Oliver, you there?" The all too familiar voice spoke through his earpiece

He brought his hand to his ear, "Yes, Felicity, I'm here."

"Are you sure you're not just being paranoid? This Nix person hasn't done anything to make us think she's here to do anything but help."

"We can't take any chances, not after everything we went through with Merlyn and Slade." he sighed, "I just want to talk to her."

"Just don't shoot her. We have enough on our plates as is without adding a vigilante war to the mix."

"I won't -" another heavy escaped him, "I'm not going to shoot her."

"Good." He could almost hear the grin on her face, "The signal has been sent. She should be there soon."

Crystal's POV

"Cisco, you sure this is the place?" I scanned the roof I was on

"The call I intercepted said there was a meta wreaking havoc on that roof."

"Well, I'm on the roof, and I'm alone. Looks like we got a bogus call."

He sighed, "Alright, I'll see you when you back."

I got set to blast my way out of there but was stopped when something shot out and wrapped around me. I fell to the ground as my arms and legs were bound to my sides. "On second thought, it looks like I'm gonna be a little late." Using my frost breath I froze a straight line through the wire holding me and pulled until the newly brittle material shattered.

I wasted no time getting back to my feet, searching the surrounding rooftops for the arrow's owner, "You lost?" I called to the sky, "Starling's about fifteen miles that way." a soft thud came from behind me. I came face to face with the masked man, "What? You gonna tell me I've failed this city?" I teased

"I just want to talk." his low modified voice spoke

"About?"

"I need to know you won't be a threat to anyone."

"A threat?" I nearly laughed, "Listen, man, I'm a lot of things, but a threat isn't one of them."

"Sorry if I don't immediately trust the word of someone who can shoot ice from her hands."

"Really that's how you wanna play it?" I was getting a little frustrated, "How do I know you're not the threat? If we compare body counts, I've got zero and you, well I lost track a month into your first year. Who's really the bigger threat?"

"We're not talking about me."

"Well, we should be! You waltz into my city and claim I'm a threat to national security, but I'm not allowed to call you out on the plethora of mistakes you've made? Bullshit. I mean, didn't the cops just barely start tolerating you?"
