Katie narrates: "It's my birthday, the day I was born, the day I took my first breath."

[at the Canada House]
Katie is still in her room sleeping when Johnny yells, "Happy birthday, Katie!" With a tray of food in his hand, she wakes up, her heart racing from his loud scream, and so confused, she says, "What?" Johnny replies, "Happy birthday; you're 18." Katie asserts, "Besides the heart attack you almost gave me, I can't believe I am an adult." Johnny sits by her on the bed and states, "Me neither; besides the point, I got food." She sighed "A great day to spend my birthday eating my sorrow," Johnny tells her as he gives her the breakfast tray he made her to eat breakfast in bed and verbalizes, "you're having that party; you may not have Zara or Maisie, definitely not Isla, but you'll have me, Haylee, um, not Dana, but Felix wants to come." Katie states, "I don't want to see Felix."

Johnny adds, "It's your birthday; you need as many people as possible." She gives him a slight smile and says, "Okay, you're right." Johnny assures her,
"My friends are coming too." She hugs Johnny and asserts, "Thanks, Cody; you're the best." He hugs back.

[in the car]
The car was silent; you could hear the sound of Carlos turning the wheel, the sound of Cody tapping the car door, and the sound of the rocks cracking as they drove, but Ria broke the silence by yelling to Willo, "If you know where your dad has Katie, tell us." Willo leans her head up from resting on the window and states, "Betray my family, for what?" Ria rolls her eyes in anger. "You're an accomplice in murders, kidnappings, and possible assaults, so we're looking at years of jail time that could be months." Willo looks at her with courage and a slight tiredness in her eyes as she says, "You need me just as much as I need you." Ria angrily shouts, "I don't need you; your father doesn't even need you; he kept you a secret while his son got all the fame; how much does he actually need you?" Willo stays silent as her heart breaks with Ria's words. She knew she wasn't her father's favorite, but she was sure he didn't care about her. How could he? She was his daughter.

Cody whispers, "Hey, don't provoke her." Ria shrugs her shoulders in an I don't care manner before replying, "We're in charge now, Cody." Cody shakes his head in disappointment; he didn't like this Ria, he asserts, "stop acting like this." She turns to him, with anger glaring in her eyes, and asks, "Like what?" He states, "an asshole." Her eyes soften at his words. He was right; she was being mean to Willo on purpose, but that's because her family took something from her that she couldn't get back. She calmly articulates, "They took Katie; today is her birthday." Cody reassures her, "I get it, Ria," but then he adds, "But it doesn't mean we stoop to their level; we win the right way, or could we really say we won?" She agreed with him, so she stayed quiet until he turned away from her. Carlos chimes in, "Okay, our next stop is a house, and the address he sent."

[at the cover house]
Vanessa walks through as the team is setting up the fake house to look as real as possible, and she asks Dan, "What do we do?" He states, "Easy, we've got to teach them; it's our game; no one can win it but us." Vanessa smiles as she kisses him, and she quickly asserts, "Do you still have the footage?" Dan replies, "Yes, why?" She turns to him and says, "Well, I have an idea." She voiced, Dan knew if Vanessa had a plan, it was a good one, so he nodded his head and said, "Okay." As he followed her, she turned to him with concern, asking, "What about Willow?" Dan looks at her with a look to scare her as he replies, "She'll be okay, plus it's none of your concern; she's not yours." Vanessa states, "I was there when you framed her mother; yeah, she's not my blood, and I was part of an affair, but she's still a hick, right? We don't harm our blood," Dan asserts. "Don't tell me you're turning soft." Vanessa shakes her head no, and he adds, "Good cause soft don't survive," and walks off.

[at Dana's party]
Dana walks into her bedroom, which was decorated in lavender purple with small flowers on the wall. "So I was thinking decorations and booze," she says. Isla sits in the swing chair she had in the corner, swinging on it as she replies, "It's 2021, sweetheart; no one says booze." Dana corrects herself with the words, "Okay, champagne." Isla gives her a thumbs up when she asserts, "I'm having a pool party." Isla states, "That's hot; what will Cody become?" Dana shakes her head and says, "No, not exactly." Isla stands up, giving her the most deceiving look. If looks could put you down, it's Isla's. As she said, "Your boyfriend isn't coming to your party." Dana swallows the lump in her throat of peer pressure as she replies, "Well, you see, Katie is his sister." Isla cuts her off as she pulls out her phone and asserts, "Don't worry, we'll make sure no one ever makes it to her party." Dana didn't want to do that, considering Katie was always so sweet to her and she's Cody's sister, so she quickly states, "No, it's okay."

Zara crosses her arms and argues, "It's actually not.' Maisie agrees with her, "It's not." Isla smiles as she knew they would back her up, "exactly." Dana breathes, and the feeling of fitting in takes over as she says, "Then do what you have to do, I guess." Isla, Zara, and Maisie use their phones to tell their followers not to attend Katie's party.

[at the police station]
laura sits the flowers in the middle of the apartment, on the floor and yells, "some flowers came." The sheriff walk to her as he says, "for who" she replies, "can't read cursive" the sheriff bends down to read the name tag, and states, "they say to Isabella max." Izzy walks in looking tired from her long day of investigating, as she asserts,"have anyone talked to Carlos lately, he could be missing." Laura gives her a concern look "why would he be missing?" She knew her and Carlos weren't close or anything, but he was a coworker, she didn't want him to be missing, the sheriff chime in before they could get head over heels, with the idea of Carlos being missing, " he sent flowers to you, I'm sure he's not." Izzy smiles excitedly as she shouts, "Laura! You didn't tell me?" Laura states, "to be fair I can't read cursive, so I didn't know" Izzy then picks up the violets, and smell them as she reads the card he left, "I miss you every day, I'm gonna be back soon"
