I walked into the office after my encounter with Skye. I sat at my desk and looked out the window. I thought back to last night and this morning and how much I loved the feeling of having her in my arms. She looks like an angel asleep. I looked at her peaceful sleeping face and then remembered her and my brothers' close friendship. Anger flowed through my veins and I clenched my jaw. I felt her stir in my arms so I pretended to be asleep. When she tried to move, I held her tighter. The rest, I don't want to remember. I feel guilty, I let my anger get the best of me.

I heard a knock on my office door and ordered the person to enter. When I saw Skye walk in I was shocked for a second, but then remember telling her to come to work today. I looked at the time to see that not only was she on time, but she was early. I honestly hadn't expected her to come in after the scene that went down this morning.

"Come in Skye

"Come in Skye. Take a seat"

She walked in wearing jeans, which I told her she could yesterday. Her skinny jeans and fitted t-shirt showed off her perfect curves. She pulled off the look of slight casual yet formal.

"What am I supposed to be doing sir?" She said, taking a seat opposite me.

I explained all her tasks to her and how she would assist me. I had fired Piper, so she wouldn't have someone to teach her the ropes. And I wasn't going to make it easy for her.

I gave her a shit load of work and sent her off to her cabin.

She came in a couple of hours later with the files. She put them down on my table and asked me to take a look at them. I took a quick glance at the files and was shocked to see that everything was perfectly done.

I threw the files back at her and she expertly caught them.

"Re-do them, this is all rubbish. I give you hour an hour"

"But sir half an hour isn't eno-"

"I don't care, I want it done"

she huffed and made her way out. As I said, it wasn't going to be easy.

...

Exactly thirty minutes later I heard a knock on the door, as Skye proceeded to enter. She lay the new files on my desk and took a step back prompting me to go through them.

"I don't need to go through them, you had done it perfectly the first time"

I looked at her to see her face red and her eyes wide.

"What is my schedule for the rest of the day?" I asked her. she picked up her iPad and briefed me about my meetings and informed me that she was going to take her lunch break. I gave her the directions for the breakroom only to receive a stiff nod from her
