Derin and I haven't really spoken to each other since that morning we had that argument at the academy. It's been over two days now and he still hasn't said anything to me, no texts, or calls. Nothing! And I've been so down about it.

This was the longest I'd ever gone without talking to him. Most times when we fought or argued, he immediately apologized and we moved on from it. I wanted to make the first step and talk to him first but Kemi forbade me from doing such . She said and I quote 'you better not text him first, you did nothing wrong! He's the one that hurt you and got all angry just cos his brother made moves on you'.

Derin's just honestly been immature about the whole thing, I mean he should know that even if I still liked Sayo we wouldn't work out. Sayo schooled and lived in the states and I wouldn't want my first relationship to be long distance.

This entire thing was just giving me a headache, I was free today so I decided to stay home and laze around. Classes were cancelled due to the public holiday, i laid down on my living room couch deciding to watch YouTube when Naomi's v-log came up and it read Visiting Crown Lake University with my boyfriend.
I held my breath in surprise at the video, the front page showing a picture of her and Derin snuggled right in front of the crown lake flag and statue.
Is Naomi also going to attend crown lake? Oh shit!

I knew Naomi was from an affluent family, plus she was a social media influencer. Her YouTube vlogs were top notch of her going on trips and spa days, she did good content on her instagram and had over ten thousand followers.
She was the perfect girlfriend for Derin.
I clicked on the video hesitant to watch it at first but the curiousity was killing me and I wanted to know what the video was all about.

The video started playing and Naomi's face came up: Hi guyss!, and welcome to my YouTube channel. I'm Naomi as you all know and today I'll be visiting crown lake university.
I'm soo excited. So I applied last week, to study mass communication. My elder sister actually goes to crown lake and I'm going to see her with my boyfriend.
Yesss guys, I have a boyfriend and he's totally amazing. We're also both going to crown lake and if that totally doesn't say couple goals then I don't know what does..*giggles*

I paused the video, immediately feeling upset. I thought he said he didn't have deep feelings for Naomi, but then he goes to visit her sister and appears in her YouTube video for her thousands of followers to see.
Why would he lie to me? It's obvious what he has with Naomi is legit because this isn't the sort of things he does with his formal girlfriends.

Why's he changing the rules for her?..
I replayed the video, the next scene showing Naomi and Derin in a car together as she bugged him playfully. He was currently wearing a face mask so we couldn't see his face but I knew for sure that he was the one, and it made my heart jump.

Naomi's voice came up as she leaned closer to Derin: hi guyss, so this is my boyfriend everyone.. baby say hi to my YouTube fans joor..
*Derin looks at the camera and waves saying a soft hello*
'Baby, remove the face mask let them see your face.' Naomi requested causing him to pull it off his handsome face coming into view as she smiled to the camera.
'Isn't he adorable..' Naomi cooed softly as they kissed each other.
I immediately switched off my phone throwing it on the couch in anger. Watching him act all sweet and loving with her was tearing me apart to a tiny million pieces.

Is this why he hasn't called once to apologize to me because he's been busy having the time of his life doing his boyfriend duties?!
Fine! If Derin wants to be that way then I'll totally play this game with him.

I wiped the tears that were about to spill from my eyes, picking up my phone and opening Instagram as I inputed Sayo's name on the search bar. His name immediately came up and I sharply clicked on the follow button.
I've had enough of derin's games..

I was currently in my grandma's house with my cousins as we all sat in the living room watching tv. My mum eventually got bored of staying in the house with us and suggested we go chill at my grandmas place.
